10 years ago, i used a clone PC with a celeron (socket 478) i don't remember very old, Windows XP and i had that issue an a problem with ie, when cmos battery 2032 has not the correct voltage (3v) thanks britec09 for your new videos, internet need more videos like this, always avoid the xenophoby and hate (nz)
Thank you for the video. i replaced the battery (in a notebook) and changed in the bios the data and time but when I switch off the computer it continue to lose data and time which must be reinserted in the bios again each time. Do you have any suggestion about that ?
Nice info thnx, i have 2 old computers from 1995 and 1999 and they still work fine, battery included lol but my old hard drives shelved dont work anymore and the ones still in the old computer do work, a bit strange right?
Hi there I have the same laptop forgot passwords and done the battery but all I get now is rtc battery is low and press f2 have put new battery in and when I press f2 nothing happens can u advice plz
hey brian,i read a long time ago that it is good to touch the poles of these battery's simultaneously because they discharge as is touching a lamp for a floodlight, because of the oil of the skin burning into the lamp had to change the battery on the motherboard of my desktop once, mine had a metal clip, cheers
@@Britec09 Stuff happens. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of it as it just didn't sound like your normal audio. I did live sound support for several years with bands and churches so my hearing is sensitive to clipping.
It's too bad all computers aren't like the Toshiba here. I have to disassemble my ASUS just to reset the CMOS. On my HP, I don't have to do that. That's why I love (and use) my HP more than my crummy ASUS.
@@honestlyidk2585 True somewhat because I had one HP that is broke because one of the hinges was worn out and it caused me to not have a screen to see anything. I am using my spare HP laptop and I'm much more careful with it. I close and open my laptop from the middle rather than grabbing from the sides (which I shouldn't have done with my other HP).
i replaced battery ,but it did not solve problem ,still getting RTC battery low msg. msg is getting after Laptop did use for more than a month.placed new battery :(

I'm not sure what happened but the audio in last few videos is clipping a lot. It was quite notable in this one especially.

Let's not talk about dirty word Amazon ruining Society, you don't need to go to Amazon to buy batteries any shop will sell those batteries
Never buy dollar store batteries
Agreed. It is bad enough to buy electrical components as it is. So many places have shut down and have been left empty.
