What! This is the most fantastic COOLEST ROCK SONG EVER!!!!!! I imagine riding on a motorcycle through the country, with all the blazing glory of a glistening star studed black leather jacket and German knee-high boots! I am a composer also, and I think Tobias is a genius. I don't know any other heavy metal band that is any better.

6 string guitars, 4 string bass and only ONE kick drum!, and the whole band is counting to 4 , this can't be progressive metal at all! THANK YOU Edguy for NOT putting out boring cookie cutter metal! :-)

Edguy in statistics: 1997 - 2006 = Totally epic power metal-songs, with elements of Iron Maiden, Helloween and Iced Earth - mixed withsome of the best vocals to ever hit the metal-scene! 2008 - present = Very boring hard rock-songs from Edguy, with new vocal-style from Sammet, which is not going that well -Edguy hits their ultimate low point :/
Mickey Holm Say what you will, in my opinion Edguy has always tried to innovate and slowly become their own thing with each album, Hellfire Club was definitely a change for the best since it combined both Power Metal and Heavy Metal in a perfect mix that really made the band sound more competent, Rocket Ride was simply amazing in every aspect, and although I know that Tittanus Scantus gets a lot of hate, I personally really loved it. It had some pretty awesome gems such as Speedhoven, Dead or Rock, Dragonfly and Ministry of Saints. Age of the Joker was a piece of complete shit, I think that most of us can agree on that, but Space Police? They really got back on track with that one, blasting Age of the Joker away completely. Also, how exactly does Tobias' new vocal-style fail so much according to you? Sure, he had some trouble with it between 2006-2010, but even then he still had some amazing performances, in 2011 he improved and nowadays and especially in the Space Police Tour, he sang on tone, high notes were done mostly flawlessly (Especially in All the Clowns in Mexico I mean DAYUM) and overall, it doesn't seem like that new vocal-style is going to take Tobias down anytime soon, so I wouldn't worry about it for now.

I agree that Space Police was a change to the better, but it was still an overall boring album :/ Okay, Tobi IS destroying his voice with his new vocal-technique. You can hear it every time he sings. He has lost almost two full octaves since 2006! :o There is a reason why Edguy never play that many songs from classic albums like Savage Poetry, Mandrake and Hellfire Club: He cannot sing them! He sings in tone -sure, but his voice is getting almost annoying, and its' VERY clear, that his voice will be gone withing the next 5 years -unless he get's an operation at his vocal-chords. But it's all Sascha Paeth's fault. He told Tobi to change to chest voice, and that way he totally ruined one of the most promising new vocalists at the time :/
Mickey Holm Hmmm.. you make a good point. But for now, let's enjoy the best of what we can get. I hope that Tobi does do something regarding this, perhaps change his vocal-technique back to operatic? Sure it wouldn't fit too well with the newer albums, but maybe he can change the tones and pace of certain live songs so they can fit the operatic vocals more properly.
