Ahhhh BRUTAL.... Johnny to bring up the rear. I play pure analog, and I put this card around middle of the pack for Team Affinity 2. If you are not depending on HRs as your primary weapon, he can be helpful. He's going to get on base a lot and steal some bases at a high rate. With some parallel, he will be a solid bench bat/set of wheels for late inning work. I think Johnny's going to work out just fine with his 118 avg contact, 102 clutch and 105 vision. His Defense hurts in the game as it some times did in real life. And 57 arm is generous. But I love ya JD! And CBrev! You are still the man.

Dante bichettes defense is fine, obviously he doesn’t throw well on base hits but his hitting is huge

It is great that he could play catcher if I were you go for that Quinn Priester card
Another good thing about that Quinn priester card is his delivery. 90% of the future stars cards have painfully long deliveries and his is very quick, which is an upside.

Lee is gonna get smacked no offense. Pitch speeds arent that crazy. Hit per 9 is an 88. And he is easily seen every year. Maybe this card is different with pinpoint being a thing this year but i dont believe this card will be top tier. Either than that love the video and other options 💪💪

Maybe they weren’t using pinpoint or weren’t locating effectively. Like he said in the video, that card has insane control if you can harness it with pinpoint.

According to this video, The best division to grind is the ALW, and the worst is the NLW, by a lot, don’t do the nlw. However the division with the most players in s tier is the NLE. So i’m gonna do the ALW and NLE first

Bichette in LF is solid since you don't need a good arm there. His Bat right now makes in startable. He's a great bench bat for the rest of the game, i'd put him in the B tier but Cbrev you mentioned you value OF defense, so the rating makes sense.

Can someone help me understand what is meant by "can get to him to parallel 2 to get diamond defence">? Does that mean at his secondary position? (The card says he has diamond defence already). Is there a specific # in the stats to look for?
The card can show a diamond icon when you look at his stats, but players with the “diamond” shield in-game have 90+ fielding at their primary position and get the best animations in the game

The thing about first basemen defensively is that really elite diamond defense first basemen are actually really awesome to have, and abysmal defensive first basemen are a real liability... But the trouble is that you can get by with a bronze defense just fine, and that makes it less valuable compared to other positions.
Crochet is nasty, by the way. I've been completely dominant with him.

I went for the hank aaron card the 42 series version is my favorite card in the game its so good so i went for the better version i really think you should try it out its good

Joe Torry sucks yet you tout his contact. But you rate gerhig low.. lol makes no sense 72/73 left for one card isn't bad on one side.
You can’t just look at the attributes. You also have to factor in the positions they play. There are better options at 1st base already at this point in the year. A really good catcher is hard to come by at this point in the year making Joe Torre a better choice.

These Hank Aaron cards are disappointing. He’s one of the best overall hitters in mlb history. High average too. I think he’s almost a300 hitter if I’m not mistaken

Can someone explain how the in game defense is determined? The stat screens will say one thing but then he’ll reference a lower tier in game.
in-game, their actual fielding is just based on the fielding stat, not the other defensive stats. they will have diamond fielding in-game if their fielding stat is 90+, gold if it is 80-89, silver if it is 70-79, etc.

I feel like if there’s an Outfield spot where defence doesn’t matter as much is LF and that’s where you could stick Dante Bichette in to try and get that bat in
Yea I haven't had that many fielding errors with dante bichette and his bat definitely makes up for it.
