very well balanced review. Me going for Creta. Brezza was my 2nd option but no Petrol option for brezza. At my place a 5 year old petrol car fetches better resale value then the diesel. This is mainly cos diesel engines start to deteriorate post 5 years+ the maintenance cost inceeases.
Also look wise Creta is any day superior. Brezza looks more like a swift made taller.. that's just a personal opinion. Cabin quality of Creta gives you a better premium feel than theBrezza. However, I feel Creta could have been a lakh cheaper across all variants. But I drive for the love of it as I swtich vehicles after 5 years. Hence didn't do the economics of VFM, mileage etc. After all how many cars does one own in a lifetime. So given the budget love of driving stands ahead of "kitna deti hai" and "paisa wasool"..

I go for creta..it has better engine..and a wealthier look than brezza
Just bought brezza Zdi+ few days ago. I think it is the best at this cost... although had to wait for 8 months.... creta is not even an compact SUV but yeah it is a good car... in compact SUV segment brezza is currently the best... create is a segment bigger.....

Creta is more stylish than brezza, have more facilities than brezza, more spacious than brezza, more comfortable than brezza, so in this comparison creta will always win

It comes to around 11.3lacs (on road price approx )for top end which has 1.3ltr diesel mill dt delivers enough power to drive this can, but cabin insulation sucks, all road/engine noise is audible within the cabin making it noisy.
All points covered in your video. IMO Hyundai should do what Ford did - drop the prices. Even if they do it by about 60-70k, the Creta, inspite of being expensive, will turn out to be so much better.
I still remember the accident that happened with creta where it toppled from right lane to the extreme left lane due to a faulty divider on the highways. The copassenger was sleeping but gess what...
They both came out safe .
So i think creta is strongly built.
It realy matter how you car will perform during any unfortunate incident.

Maruti vitara brezza lookwise is a range rover copy .
But fate , Maruti has more resale value and monopoly in India.
Creta looks good and feels good. The car is also now more popular in Dubai.

Its good you acknowledged this to be on public demand. Since, both cant be compared. Absolutely different price segments. Where top end of Brezza is available, Creta is not even available.

Been a Creta(petrol) user for over an year completely satisfied with the car👌 however when it comes to power i think diesel does a slightly better job,not much difference though considering difference initial price, service and maintenance cost and almost no noice in Petrol Variant.

brezza is no comparison for creta. You can buy 2 brezza for a beautiful creta.
If you look at the build quality Brezza is much overpriced (just the looks and an infotainment system is not adequate features... and shouldn't we think about our safety? (sorry Maruti fans :-| )) due to to its cheap plastic, small engine, no rear ac vent, thin body, less space and the maintenance cost (I used brand new Wagon r for 4 years and the average service cost was 7-8 K per 10,000 KM, i've been using 1.4 Diesel Creta for more than a year now and the maintenance cost is same like Wagor R :-) initially I was confused in making decision, i took 3-4 test drives each of Breza and Creta, I had less budget still was convinced to go for basic version of Creta instead of top end Brezza and I'm very happy with my choice after 15 months :-)

Brezza is just big car with small engine.engines of brezza and swift is same ( diesel 1.2 ). But price difference is very high. But creta has best class engine and high performace. Creta is most powerful and safety car with lots of comfort features.So creta is The perfest SUV....
Due to significantly higher level of smoke and pollution of diesel cars, I am reluctant to go for diesel version. Creta's fuel economy is very poor 10-12 kmpl and I am hoping that Maruti will launch Brezza with Petrol variant with better mileage and perhaps automatic version too. Any idea about petrol version launch in Brezza?

Going for an s cross will be a wise decision if a customer wants a maruti car only.. because that car is a quality car from Maruti.It might not give one an suv feel, but it gives an ample of cabin space where breeza sucks.

I feel breeza is a lot more value for money an a better car considering its price . Creta is a overpriced car. Maintenance costs of maruti is lot lesser than hyundai . But looks wise creta look big and slightly better than breeza.
If you compare creta with s corss or the ecosport you will feel s cross and ecosport offer much more value for money.
Creta only sx trim is well loaded for the price s and s plus trims feels much less equipped comparatively. If you
s cross 1.3 zeta variant and creta 1.4 s variant you will feel s cross is far better equipped and offer much more value.
Multijet engine is lot more reliable than the crdi engine .

+Edwin Paul It does have automatic climate control in the top end variant though the absence of rear AC vents do make a difference. Buying Brezza with Automatic climate control should provide you with better cooling.

hey Kartiik thanks for replying .But not only i have changed the coil i changed the full unit and even tried changing the compressor and put a new sx4 compressor when i put the new condenser and cooling coil and also new pipe lines

This keeps the weight low as well as enhances passenger protection in case of a collision. This claim was proved when the Creta (Called the ix25 in China) underwent the C-NCAP (China New Car Assessment Program) and scored a full 5 stars. Point to be noted is that the tests were conducted on the mid-range (S+) variant without curtain airbags.
All variants of the Vitara Brezza get a driver airbag as standard, while dual airbags are standard on the top variants. A passenger airbag can be added as an optional extra with the lower variants. While anti-lock brakes and electronic brake-force distribution come as standard with the ZDi and ZDi+, you can have them with the LDi (O) and VDi (O) as well. While parking sensors are featured from the VDi variant onwards, and the range topping ZDi+ gets reverse parking camera as well. Overall, the SUV does seem to have a good safety package

why the experts never discuss about the external body material and its strength. I feel the body material of duster is strongest, then Creta and then brezza and this I feel matters alot

there is no comparison of creta and brezza. hahaha, are you being serious @Cardekho vitara brezza top variant priced 10,80,000 on road and whereas Creta lower model cost same as brezza top model, creta top model price is 17,10,000.even though you get engine options in creta 1.4 and 1.6 diesel, try creta 1.6 diesel its a beast, Maruti quality has always been low built quality, you drive a maruti at 120 starts shaking like anything, poor built quality.
Agreed to your point, however, we have compared these models because both belong to the same segment i.e compact SUV.

Brezza is not at all comparable with creta..its the same maruti tin can...it doesnt even give the feel that your driving an suv...it gives a feeling that one is driving the swift..only difference is, you sit higher...If i consider black interiors of Maruti swift with brezza, swift is a clear winner wrt within maruti interior comparision. I didnt compare it with Hyundai coz Maruti couldn't beat Hyundai wrt interiors.

+chitta ranjan Brezza offers more in less price when it comes to features. It has better fuel economy and also looks more macho. The quality of plastics inside is a bit on the lower side. Generates less power as compared to Creta. Creta on the other hand misses out on cruise control and voice control, but covers up with a 6 speed automatic gear box with the petrol trims and apparently generates more power and torque.
