Cracking bit of ploughing there Ian, love the smell off the ground being turned over.
That was me going by at twelve minutes in
Things are looking MR, P. I don't think Reg can stop farming it's in his blood.
Cracking one. Cracking drone footage 👍. Tea or coffee to put the world to write. Did you take out a small loan for the postage 😂😂
Nice work with the drone(and the plough). I'd quite like a drone, but out of price range at present. You Almost had 25 tons in that heap.
Good show. That shoveling though ... My back hurts for you 😂
Cracking video Ian. You don't realise how hard a job it is to grow a crop from ground preparation to planting to harvest
Farmers for food no farmers no food one love everyone
Hi Ian, i enjoyed your "Droning" , it's better than the stuff i have to listen to at work all day!!!😅
@@alwynjones422 😄👍🏼
Reg was traming only well with the new tractor 👌👍
Goodness I used to love ploughing, although Reg is cracking on a wee bit faster than I used to with a 4 furrow rebwerk and a 100hp JD 6400😉
I thought Reg was retiring? But that looks like a new tractor.
Nice friable soil by the look of it.Bit different from the three furrow plough we used to use.
Plowing’s begun. Surely spring’s around the corner.
A very good Friday evening to you all
Another great video mr. P. It looks like great soil there great drone footage 👍👍
We got hammered SW scotland.
There was plenty trees 🌳 down with the storm up here in Ayrshire 🏴🏴
Enjoyed the drone 👍
Put some water in the water tank, it won't move then!
Hi Mr P another very good video again 👍
😀
16:05 great content again
Nice to see the drone out and about, Farmer P. Sssppooooky music 😅
Thought I would do something a bit different for a change. 🙂
@@FarmerP 👍👌😉
Why has Reg got a T W White sun visor in the tractor, surely should be Reg, Boy Reg or or course "Reg and ?" - the classic visor between girl friends!!
very good video 👍❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Was that young Pat Russell making dust with old broom?
It was 😄
Used to feed Brewers Grains to the cows. Had a trailer twice the size of the Manitou bucket. We emptied it and filled it three times every morning, all by hand with ally shovels. What is the maximum wind speed you can fly your Drone in?
@@trevorsidley7697
The drone will manage up to 20 mph, but it saps the battery very quickly.
@@FarmerP Thanks
🎉 was that run off drainage by the hedge and do you plough by longest length or across the incline If the field's not levelish.
@@chriseccles1454 The ground is flat level Chris apart from the corner in this picture, so it’s ploughed on the length.
Soil looks well Ian turning over nicely. Is it going into Spring Barley?
@@paulstorer6937 Yes Paul, we are drilling Laureate, a malting variety 🙂👍🏼
@ here’s hoping it makes a malting sample
@ The ground is good enough, I hope, still waiting on our soil tests, we just need the weather and no pest problems to get the desired result. I need it to be good, it’s a lot of extra unexpected investment this year with no return until the Autumn.

Just on your drone footage Ian, is there an exposure level you could increase on it? Just to brighten some of the footage. I use one of the more current mini drones and it is a feature on those with exposure levels. Just not sure it is on your model.
I noticed it was a bit dark, I will have to re set my exposure levels to automatic I expect.
