@@NaturallyAspirated If it’s in budget a S2 Exige S… The SC gives it a little more torque making it much more usable. Has a hard top as standard but can easily be removed on sunny days - add a soft top for summer use!
I have the S2 111R and love it; a true driver's experience. Raw, responsive and requires fresh rubber. For an Exige, I'd go up to the S3. BTW, don't rev the engine when starting.
@@patrickvanrinsvelt4466 love to hear you enjoy yours! I will say i don't think the rubber was upto much on this car! And yes we would never rev on a cold engine, we had just been driving around so the car was still warm... we wouldn't want to send a piston to the moon! haha
Sure it comes alive at 6K rpm since that's when the valves lift. That's not the fun factor. It's about how hard you dare push in tight curves, at speed, under hard acceleration. Lotus does this best.

Absolutely! It was great in the corners! I think we were surprised at just how noticeable the cam was !
The lotus Elise looks great in orange an better as a hard top imo
I do love the Lotus orange but this classic Lotus yellow tops it for me
I have the hard top but it's pretty rare that it's on. I go out year round without.

@@edduerden9257 Mine is Old English White with the matching hard top. Never screwed in, takes 15 seconds to take it off and put in the van.
