One of the best scenes of the finale. Kayla, Jordi, and of course Angie were great!

Irony: the most in depth story line brought to us by a couple of teenagers. I love it. They did a great job casting Angie's half sister👍

Showtime I want more!. When are u going to announce season 3? Why so few episodes? I am willing to pay to keep the show going. The L Word Q is my favorite show period. I am a straight black female. College educated. Over 60. Proof there is diversity in the demographics.I am torn between Tina And Pipa for Bette. I love Alice and Tom. Danni and Gigi are the best. Please let Shane stay with Tess. I hope Angie goes to a Historic Black College or University.. Keep the love flowing.

The writers really handled this story well and the actress Jordan was amazing this season. I really believe that's Bette's daughter.

Such wonderful scene. At least something for Angie! I really hope that we will get to see enough of Angie (with her moms) in season 3. She is such a great character to the show. Pleeeeeaaaaaase, Showtime, give us season 3.

Angie losing her aunt and then Marcus was so foul. This poor girl is yearning for a connection to anything remotely black because she is suffocated by her two privilege, white moms. She literally have nobody now. It is so sad.

From what I saw of this season 2, I understand that ShowTime tried to kind of update the original series, where there was a majority of white (privileged?) lesbians.
In that respect, this new version of the series achieves this purpose, as there is a much better attempt at diversity and mixed couples, in all senses.
But as some youtubers have pointed out, some of the stories are poorly developed, not enough credibility of some of the characters, they need better scripts to become more real or more adored, as it happened with a lot of the original series characters.
And the proof that people prefer more developed characters is that "Tibette", even though it had just a few minutes during this 2nd season, still seems to be the best story, probably thanks to the amazing chemistry between Beals and Holloman.
I suppose there is definitely going to be a 3rd season, as the Tibette ending would make no sense if there isn't a sequel to this open end final scene.
As I said to a youtuber, I would love to see "Tibette" have a "happy ending", not because life is always like that, but because I would love to see both characters mature to the extent that they realize they are actually uniquely made for each other, having tried all kinds of relationships with other partners.
It would seem that Tina and Bette are not together any more because they behave like teenagers at times, instead of two mature women.
People can change with age and they should be able to realize, even if they once hurt each other, that you can give a second, third or many other chances to achieve a healthy couple relationship.
And their daughter's character, Angie, had a rather irrelevant part in the show, probably because she is not really OK with having to see her moms not together.
I mean, both Bette and Tina are supposed to be good hearted women, even though Bette is portrayed as a kind of control freak in general. They should see beyond all the noise that has cluttered their unique love.
Oh well, I guess I love these 2 actresses too much. :)

As a person of color myself I felt like the original L Word was fine. We might have had a lack of representation; Kit, Papi, Catherine and Carmen, but the show was amazing back then because it didn't focus on the sex or the race or anything of that sort. In this new series we're introduced to characters and most of them are boring, unlikeable, their storyline lacks substance, and on top of all that they force certain couples on the viewers when there are multiple gaping plot lines. The whole Shane/Tess thing came out of the blue in the recent season, they barely had any romantic chemistry but we were supposed to believe Shane "loved" her. Same exact thing happened to Finley and Sophie.. They have no romantic chemistry yet they were put together unexpectedly and we were forced to watch an awkward sex scene. The only good thing about the series is Shane/Quiara, Bette/Tina which they left on a cliffhanger. It's stuff like this that honestly gets on our nerves. This show has NOTHING to offer us.
