Yeah, Danzo leaked that Naruto was the jinchuriki and that Minato sealed Kurama into him. But, what he didn't say was that Naruto was Minato's son. It is stated in series that the village itself feared that making public information that Naruto was Minato's son (or if Naruto took on his last name of Namikaze) would make Minato's enemies in other lands hunt down Naruto. Granted, him telling EVERYONE he's Kurama's jinchuriki could essentially do the same but Danzo & Hiruzen (and the other elders who were there teammates) still had somewhat of the same wavelength in terms of keeping Naruto more so hidden away in the village similar to how the 4th Raikage did to Bee after his dad died. Still, thanks to Jiraiya, Tsunade and Kakashi they understood that Naruto needed to be going on important missions and not locking him away. So yeah, Danzo leaked it but Hiruzen was of course TOO SOFT to do anything about it and did a bad job in terms of letting Danzo do his thing. Hiruzen in my opinion is the worst Kage cause of this, he never could control both his light and dark side as Hokage (i.e. Naruto's & Sasuke's upbringing, Uchiha massacre and making Itachi kill his entire clan, Letting Danzo run wild with root and forming present Akatsuki, literally letting Orochimaru leave the village and start his own when rogue ninja are directly stated that they are to be put to death if captured, forcing the village into 2 world wars that Konoha is said to have started)

Why do they even make female jinchuriki if them becoming pregnant and giving birth is actually such a danger. Even if under normal circumstances they should be able to handle it this seems like an avoidable risks considering Bijuu are the equivalent of nukes in that world and you would try to avoid all risks, even the little ones

On to the point, It was clear to me that yes Danzo was running away for his life but he decided to go out while fighting instead of just continuing to run and still hoping he could escape. He went out fighting 2 criminals that are a threat to the village. Danzo does love the village but he protects it in a f*ck up way.
