0:44 That same caboose came through where I live in Nebraska. That caboose usually is accompanied with some containers on flatbeds. DODX stands for Department of Defense.
I LOVE these short videos! Fun happenings that most of us don't have time to hope for by watching for an hour or more at a time. And there are so many VRF cams now. Was the last stop the other end of Strasburg?
I really like the grab bag theme, a little of everything from everywhere. Something I'd like to ask after seeing what is probably the conductor waving out of the passenger train (Amtrak) is he a conductor or is he then considered as a brakemen of which I thought that class was now defunct. Because I thought that on a passenger train I thought that the conductor was back in the passenger cars taking tickets and loading and unloading passengers. Could you or someone explain this matter to me. Also some great views of some incredible old steam equipment. All in all, A Great video!
Ah. “No left turn” on the signal. I did wonder what protection the road user had from the side road over the crossing. Doesn’t look like much protection though.
These are a real treat, keep up the good work...
Loved the Grab Bag. Nice Effort. 👍

Think it's used for guards?
Yes guards are in it when escorting high security DOD cargo
Same here except in Terre Haute, IN a couple weeks ago. Guess it's all around the country.
A great collection of highlights!

Yeah, that's Leaman Place near Paradise.
@@coswiger Thanks. I was always wondering what the turnaround point looked like. I think I've seen it once before.

That steam engine ran over a closed switch?

Caught BNSF #756 "Fakebonnet" on Saturday, and a Kansas City Southern on Monday in Louisiana!
(V/R) ❤️❤️❤️
Strasburg RR switch is a spring switch so trains on the left track can go through it even if it is set for the rightmost track.

Are Superliners normal for Ashland? I used to watch the webcam a while back and I don't remember seeing any on the regular trains.
That was the auto train, 52 NB.

That Semi Truck-Train Still In Service?
I hope they know about the washout on that short turnout behind the maintenance truck and gondola with the front-loader in it.
