My mom used to listen this songs while she was pregnante of me. I have been looking for this masterpieces for years and finally I found them. They give a feeling I can't even describe. Love them.
LOL Well how about that! I did too have cassettes, and walkman, and listened these so much. when i did go to sleep, this tune did get me there... Ah.. those were the days :)
jurgenzen Me too. I got the first 2 on christmas eve 1990 and I was stunned. a couple of monts earlier I had all five. If I remember correctly there was also a number 6??
Christian Haugaard it's 2017, still have the cassette and two double deck players working, and all play the tape from time to time (especially when I'm constructing and making 3D drawings on the computer)
Dit is een van DE grote sinthesizer hits wereldwijd. Maar er is nog zoooo veeeeeeeel meeeeeeeeeer....... abnormaal veel en een zee van schoonheid aan muziek en beelden. geweldig gewoon
makes me think of a beach on a little greek island at a place called paradise beach on spetses, aptly named, and they played music like this all day.beautiful.
First LP I used to listen to with my first walkman in 1989 maybe. Second tape I got is Texas "south side" then i bought Ah Ha "Take on me" ... love this times of discovering the music :)
While my dumb family was watching dumb tv programs, I was listening to this with big 80's headset and feel invincible. Memories like this cant be destroyed !!
This is just ridiculously good sound design. The quality of the sounds is difficult to match even in 2020 with plugins. Ed Starink also had access to the best hardware you could think of at the time: Fairlight, Jupiter 8, ppg wave etc ... you name it
I was around 10 when i got the cassette from my brother, listened it with Walkman, and on stereos. Feeling already so emotional, looking at the Countach poster on the wall. Some day... I listen this in my Countach driving with my girlfriend that i dreamed. Well, now im almoust 35, never did get the Countach, i did get my girl, but lost her... But this song is still with me with the same feeling's. Some day...
@@Null_Point3r I guess never stop dreaming for certain things. Weard how it goes with some people, like myself, same unreachable childhood dreams carryes on, no matter how much years there starting to be on the clock. And music like example this track, it always is like first time listening it, it gives the same vibes like when was little kid. And never get enough from it. The sounds in it, are like sound of dreams or something, hit's hard in emotions. But yeah, life carryes on. Cheers!
at last !!!! i find!!! i look cd with this music on ebay, on net, i can't find no where this cd to buy, help me a i have tape with this greate music but i want cd. please!
Awesome cover! Probably the best one. Wow! Truly great! And all the parts are in there. Just wonder how did you record that lead guitar sound. Was it an emulation from your synth, or the real thing? Thanks for sharing!
Always thought these were the original versions.... Too bad the CD's had abysmal physical quality, I never encountered hard pressed CD's to have CD rot, but these Synth discs have. Half the songs no longer play or get stuck in the player.

Can't agree more.
So you are born begin 90's ?
God bless your mum 🙂 ..your mum has hgot the greatest taste in music... The amount of instruments involved in this is extraordinary... 😎
Your mother has a very fine good music taste.
Now u hear it in life and that's why u feel that nostalgia of remembering being in a place u haven't been.
had all the cassette tapes, and listened on my "walkman" ;O), yeah im that old!!!

mathieu: why.
Haha, I'm also listening to the original tapes sometimes when 3D drawing (CAD stuff). Why tape and not digitally? Just for fun.

Good Job Ed Starink!

Love how the cover adds more gritty texture to the synths ... love it
Heb de hele serie compleet op vinyl mooie muziek.
Wow 80's my youth, this drops in from the first theme
Always though many of his covers were better than the originals; which were great already :D That vox synth fits perfectly

Hello Friend, I like this kind of music where I download....
ohh yeah
I have all the releases since early 90s
Yes, I know it's older. ;-) But I came to listen to it in the mid-90s, due to the fact that I wasn't born until 1982.
Köszönöm
The Time every song had its own character.

Best Cover, but no compare to the Original!
I prefer the original version.

@Prizm4Music AFAIK that ain't real guitar such as there wasn't real guitar on Jan Hammer's original.
Sounds of my youth......life goes by too fast.😊
I want to help people and be a hero when I hear this.
This is Great :)
Super!!!
