A couple of months back, my brother and I were lounging lazily sa living room, my dad must've overheard us talking about going out for a quick snack but somehow can't decide where to go. My phone suddenly vibrated, my dad sent me a location and some pocket money telling us to go to the location and enjoy. Knowing our dad, we decided to go and check the location out. We fell in love with Chef Punk almost immediately. His food and stories are one of a kind, so inspiring. Then we went back home, excited to tell our dad the adventure he sent us out to. He told us of how he met Chef Punk and how life drifted them apart. My dad was driving around the location when he spotted Chef Punk opening his kitchenette and made a mental note of it. I'll never forget that experience. Such a wonderful person.

I would much prefer to eat in a place like his with specific specialties, and amazing vibe rather than in a spotless chain restaurant. Japan has many hole-in-the walls like this wherein there is a distinct restaurant theme, one of the many reasons that it is a food destination. Manila can do so as well, not just through fine dining, but more so through hole-in-the walls. I hope that his shop would prosper and that he would have great health for many years to come.
As a metalhead, thumbs up to kuya......naalala ko mga naging kaibigan ko everytime na pupunta ako ng mga "gigs" nung high school pako kay kuya.....as i remember, when i was transitioning from gangster/youngster(hiphoper) to being rocker/metalhead, puro punks kasama ko kasi hindi ako sumasama sa mga kaibigan kong emo and nagiisa lang akong metalhead that time sa group namin......through this punks, marami silang tinuro sakin na nakapag enlighten ng aking isipan....marami kang matutunan like this kuya, the way he speaks he reminds me of my good ol prens......namimiss ko tuloy sila.....hahahaha...asan na kaya sila!?

Way back 2006 punks lifestyle ako dati hitch dito hitch doon bitbit ang skateboard hanap spot, squat dito, hingi pagkain, walang pera literal na palaboy. Sayang wala pa kami mga camera/vlog nun. Ti’l 1 time naka hitch kami ng tropa ko naalala ko mitsubishi strada yun na blue pinasakay kami papunta sya ng davao city nun. Sabi ni sir san adventure nyo? (Papunta kmi ng kadayawan festival noon at my punk hardcore gig dn) Tpos ngpa sound trip sya ng mga old punkrock bands na hndi ko pa na rinig. Di ko na matandaan ano pangalan ni sir he’s around 40 y.o. up that time and he works at some agri/pesticide company pero ung sinabi nya samin di ko makakalimutan. Sabi niya punks din daw sya dati (from somewhere in luzon) nalibut na rn daw nya ang pilipinas sa paggng punks, after ilang dekada sa lifestyle sabi niya wala daw yumaman sa pagiging punks dito sa pinas hahahaha it’s up to us nlng daw kng pano namin e balance ang lifestyle. Nakakapagod mag trabaho mag hanap ng pera pero mas kawawa k pag pulubi k. Bata p kc ako nun walang paki sa future pero napaisip ako sa sinabi nya kng ganito nlng ba k palaboy buhay ko hahahaha before kami nag part ways binigyan nya kami ng pera at sabi nya magtapos kami sa pagaaral. Sa panahon ngayon marami nang nagsulputang mga kainan na pang genZ o yung mga nauusong pagkain o inumin tulad ng milkteas,mga pastries etc. pero hindi katulad ng mga ganito na pagnakita mu mapapaisip ka, pagpasok mu mamamangha ka, pagkain mu kekwentuhan ka pa ng may ari pag alis mu magkakaroon ka ng memories na di mu malilimutan, sana lahat ganito, yung parang feel at home kalang kahit nasa iba kang lugar, more power and as always punkz not dead talaga, God bless ser punk🤘✌️😊😊

Way back 2006 punks lifestyle ako dati hitch dito hitch doon bitbit ang skateboard hanap spot, squat dito, hingi pagkain, walang pera literal na palaboy. Sayang wala pa kami mga camera/vlog nun. Ti’l 1 time naka hitch kami ng tropa ko naalala ko mitsubishi strada yun na blue pinasakay kami papunta sya ng davao city nun. Sabi ni sir san adventure nyo? (Papunta kmi ng kadayawan festival noon at my punk hardcore gig dn) Tpos ngpa sound trip sya ng mga old punkrock bands na hndi ko pa na rinig. Di ko na matandaan ano pangalan ni sir he’s around 40 y.o. up that time and he works at some agri/pesticide company pero ung sinabi nya samin di ko makakalimutan. Sabi niya punks din daw sya dati (from somewhere in luzon) nalibut na rn daw nya ang pilipinas sa paggng punks, after ilang dekada sa lifestyle sabi niya wala daw yumaman sa pagiging punks dito sa pinas hahahaha it’s up to us nlng daw kng pano namin e balance ang lifestyle. Nakakapagod mag trabaho mag hanap ng pera pero mas kawawa k pag pulubi k. Bata p kc ako nun walang paki sa future pero napaisip ako sa sinabi nya kng ganito nlng ba k palaboy buhay ko hahahaha before kami nag part ways binigyan nya kami ng pera at sabi nya magtapos kami sa pagaaral. Sana matagpo ko ulit si sir at magpasalamat sa payo nya kahawig kc niya si kuya punk dito sa video nato..share ko lng 😅🤘🏼 up d punx! Oi! Oi! Oi!
