As a kid I always fantasized about videogames being more realistic like movies, having open worlds to explore freely and an engaging story instead of linear arcade-ish gameplay. Amazing to see all that come to reality in this decade!! :D

Soooooo many memories and good times with this game. It was my first platinum trophy, and really made me fall in love with Nepal and its culture, and I literally want to go there now. So beautiful, and the story was pretty good as well. I hope they do a blood dragon style thing with Shangri-La someday, because that place was so freaking awesome. This was by far my personal fav for 2014. Will always love and remember this title :)

This is such a wonderful trailer. It's done incredibly well. The little touches make it awesome, like how you hear one bar of the riff of Should I Stay or Should I Go when Pagan gets out of the chopper. Little things like that make this trailer wonderful. Not to mention that that is a great song, and I really, really hope it's included in the full game. Really excited for this one. It's gonna be stunningly beautiful and hopefully really fun. I do hope that they add in the hardcore mode that they were talking about, that would just make this game perfect.

Like, he's obviously insane, but the explosions of rage are more of a scare tactic than they are him actually going off the handle. Everything seems very calculated with this new guy, whereas Vaas was just a loose cannon who kinda had a plan/kinda didn't/made it up as he went along. This guy definitely has a plan.

For example: We got Alien Isolation, Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Wolfenstein the new Order, Super Smash Bros WiiU, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 9, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, and Last of Us: Left Behind. Wow! What a great year!.. see how easy that was? Stop being a damn pessimist. Watch Dogs, even after the downgrade, looked amazing. Those water graphics are still some of the best in gaming. And the story in Watch_Dogs was pretty decent too.
Arguably one of the greatest video game settings ever, and the greatest setting in Far Cry. Everyone has seen European, American and East Asian cities. European and American wilderness. Nowadays many games have even explored Africa and tropical countries. Far Cry 4 is the only game to ever explore Nepal, its mythology and the himalayas. All while fighting Pol Pot and Shining Path esque rebels. It is insanely unique. Far Cry 5 literally just being Montana further highlighted how great and unique Far Cry 4 truly was.

First its says Namaste in nepali writing (indians say "namaskar") then it shows nepali uniform police and Ghale, the last name of main character is nepali also Kirat the fictional place they are in referencing Kirati dynasty of Nepal from past so why r they talking in hindi? Lazy research? Cant wait for the game.

Hes Pagan Min ( The crazy dude ) and that other one ,if im not mistaking , is his adoptive son so the kid went to the mountains for his mothers ashes and came across this guy but since the kid ran away at a young age , Pagan missed him that's why he said to the soldier not to shoot

Pagan min loved a woman, but the woman chose another man, that man was the leader of the resistance against Min. When the man was killed, the woman fled to america. You are her son and returned to spread your mother's ashes. When min hears about this, he tells his troops to STOP (not shoot) the bus.

I really love this game and I feel that far cry 4, and just ubisoft as a whole is underrated for the amazing games they make. Also anyone know what that sound effect at 0:17 is? I really like it, sounds like a horn or something
How does Ubisoft earn tons of $$
-Ensure the game is overhype by using high-end PC to showcase the "next gen realism" graphics
-Once its overhyped..they start to show more trailers and sell pre orders
-Few months before release..downgrade graphics for EQUAL performance among all platforms
-Once released..they earn fast $$$ with many complains from players but not critics
