G5 really reminds me of a mixture of Gen2 and Gen3, I’m excited! The colors are stunning and the characters look just as exciting as Gen4’s were. I cant wait to see some more toys for Gen5, I really hope we get stuff like a Queen Haven fashion size, blind bags, McDonalds toys, sea ponies, funkos and maybe even those anime figures G4 got! I also hope Hitch and the rest of the boys get a mane 😅😅 very confused why they went in that direction since all gens before 5 had brushable manes
Had a clip on one with wings, I think those do count as the Pegasi from the second generation. It also had sparkly streaks in their hair. I think the second generation was more popular in Europe, because it ran for a pretty long time here. Still think the second generation is super pretty. They had all the glitter and elegance a kid could want.
I've seen pictures of the g2 ponies with clip on wings, it would have loved to see g2 pegasus pony toys with sculpted wings 💗 I love the sparkles in g2 ponies eyes 🦄

When I was 7 (2012) I found out there was different generations and it made more sense to me lol. There was this one time when I was 3-5 years old, my aunt got me this newborn Pinkie Pie toy from Gen 3.5 (don't remember the name but we all know which nightmare of a spin-off it came from-) and I was mega confused as to why she looked so different from G4 Pinkie Pie, now I realize she was my first pre-G4 MLP toy, kinda disappointing since it came from the newborns spin off, but at least I grew up with some type of older MLP toy.

yesterday I bought my first ponies at a flea market, and I got one G1 cotton candy but she has concave feet and says "82" is it possible? I gotta say, I dont know if its a Nirvana Pony bc MLP was licensed by toptoys here. I don't think its fake bc it says Hasbro :(
It's not fake :) it's stamped '82 because of production reasons but they didn't start selling mlp until '83. And it's not a nirvana cuz they were available in the US, hope this helps! ^^ my little wiki is a always a great resource too
