Thank you for sharing this....brings back a lot of old memories for me.
Spent many fun times around Cripple Creek and Victor back in the 1970's before gaming started. camping, hiking, working and exploring many of the old mines that are sadly gone now because of the strip mining.
I also lived in both towns for several years after gaming started in 1991 and I do miss it very much

A little too much background music for me, but I do love the content

Italian ! A treat to read, and about my limit of Italian, (except the more frequently used "bad words", lol).
Married to a Northern Italian for 11 years (a Guidobono, his Father from Piemonte) his stage name Dennis Bono, waa managed by Sinatra's People: Jilly Rizzo and Tony Opedissano, Jilly was his best friend and both were Managers of Sinatra. It was a most interesting time, quite fun, and abundant in entertainers, we lived in Las Vegas.
They were each and all very kind to be and I admired each, Sinatra, his circle of friends, particularly Nick from Chicago, and his family. Chicago was my original home town, I was later moved to Tennessee, my Dad's home area.
Hope you enjoyed my "Italian inspired story.m", it is authentic and I enjoyed the memory visit.
      Best Thoughts ...
