      Agreed, BB Malaysia not only has much smarter uniform that also resemble the original uniforms, the drill techniques are also much more disciplined.

    Those commenting on the Drill standards should be aware that it’s not something that every BB company does these days, and there’s people at national level here in the UK that are trying to take away a lot of what the BB was built upon. Those from Malaysia and a lot of other Far East countries take a more militaristic attitude with the BB. Keeping the core values of the BB alive, but please don’t go criticising our boys here. They’re doing their best. I’ve been on many a parade with various organisations and I’ve seen some pretty poor standards from them. So think before you comment. I noticed on the Queens funeral parade that there were people out of step, and they’re professionally trained soldiers. sailors and airmen. Even members of the Royal family, not naming names. But I could tell, just by listening to the pulse of the beat from the bass drummer in the Pipes and Drums. I’ve also seen cadets, from Army Cadets. Sea Cadets. Marines Cadets. Air Training Cadets who do that type of marching that is known as Tik Tokking and also have difficulties with keeping in step. Every organisation will have people like that. So please...... once again, be mindful when making comments.

    In Malaysia BB it is way better in everyway

    • @ScottyBugler2005
      @ScottyBugler2005 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In Malaysia they’re more militaristic than the UK version of the BB which of course it started here in the UK in the first place, and fortunately for Malaysia it doesn’t have people who are constantly trying to take away from the core values that have long been associated with the Boys’ Brigade. We have people at national level unfortunately who are trying to take the organisation as far away from what Sir William Alexander Smith intended it to be when he formed it way back in 1883. So Malaysia is lucky in that respect that they don’t have those kind of reformists, who constantly try and take away the identity of our organisation.

    Army cadets is way better than this

    • @ScottyBugler2005
      @ScottyBugler2005 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      BluePlayz of course it’s going to be a high standard of drill in the Army Cadets overall. The BB is voluntary and the officers in BB are trying their best with what they have. The army cadets and other cadets have well trained drill instructors who do that kind of thing full time. A lot of BB companies are tending to veer away from drill. However.... I will say I’ve also seen Army Cadets and even Sea and ATC Cadets who can’t seem to march properly. So you might want to think twice before you criticise the BB for our drill standards. At least we can march unlike a lot of Scouts out there. The only Scouts who seem to be able to march are those in the Bands or the Queens Scouts who generally provide the guard of honour at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday. All other Scouts I’ve ever seen have had abysmal drill standards

    • @ScottyBugler2005
      @ScottyBugler2005 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      But the lads we do have are trying their hardest. They’re still way better than a lot of other BB companies out there that don’t do drill and some that do.

      @@sniffadoghq why be embarrassed by being in the BB ? Sir Alex Ferguson was in the BB and he’s not embarrassed to admit it. He credits the BB for giving him the leadership qualities and experiences he had for many years along with a few other celebrities who have been in the BB
