I've had it for a year as my first keyboard and I have to say it has a lot of great sounds (especially strings). Now I'm way more into synths and looking for Yamaha DX7 but that one is really good if you're a beginner.
@@gearfacts mine was in a charity shop with a stand and stool for only £40! I got it as a Christmas present last year, but am hoping to upgrade to a synth next year 😊
Absolutely. I'm putting up a review tomorrow of the PSR-E223 which is quite similar, and there's a lot of focus on the synth sounds. I'm really happy with it :)
What are the industry's standards for transpose and tuning? I played around with these functions and can't seem to remember what they originally were..
Use the direction buttons to go to the gain setting (under distortion) and then use the +/- buttons to adjust the gain. This will help you filter out noise too :) Gearfacts
BuickGeek24 Well true, it does have some reverb and chorus effects but when it comes to keyboards if this type I tend to think of DSP as the more advanced effects like phaser, delay, overdrive etc which often come as an additional feature blithely referred to as a “DSP”. But yes I see the ambiguity! Cheers :) GF
I still would like to see a mini keyboard from Yamaha a la SA-76 or perhaps a revival of the PSS FM keyboards Edit: To add, the closest we got was the Yamaha SHS-500
I guess they've got the Yamaha Reface keyboards but they're in a totally different price range. Old PSS580 and 680 keyboard are similar great if you can find them.
Estaré con algún problema...pero la verdad es que a todos los teclados digitales chinos los escucho casi con la misma calidad de audio (Mencionar que son chinos no es despectivo)
Very cool 😎 I played one before and the styles only one variation and fill in no intro and ending. If Yamaha put that feature in it it would nake the Keyboard more fun I enjoyed watching.

@@Sedyon It was good for its price
Simple neat and tidy piece of Kit....
I had this when I was 10!
Then You must be 11years old now.
I have this keyboard. I got it second hand and love it as a beginner 😊
I haven't seen a single one around since making this video. Weird :/

Cool for old school RPG music :)
I'm about to buy one of these second hand as an absolute beginner.
It comes with 10 piano books and is £25.
I can't wait 😊
Good for kids.
Yep I agree /Gearfacts
Really good for beginners but also for people like me who don't want an extra fancy synth ;)

How could you set in to the sustain notes.

Can this type connect to pC using AUX port? I tried but it didn't work
You'd need a separate audio interface to make it work like that.
Does anyone know how to control the tempo in the metronome in this keyboard Yamaha psr.f50? Thank you !
There should be a tempo button somewhere ...if not, try the function menu. Or to see the manual, Google "Yamaha PSR-f50 pdf"
CAN IT BE PLUGED IN TO A pc TO USING AS A mIDI kAY FOR fl sTUDIO ?

my Yamaha psr f50 speaker complaint. One speaker is not working and another one vibrating. which complaint is that ??
Unusual to get any faults on a yamaha let alone two. Unlucky :( GF

Oohhh I see. True - I left it out because all it has is power and headphones socket. Nothing else! Gearfacts

PSR Chip? @@gearfacts
What about the tuning? I have it on 400. Is it right? Or like to high or low?
I've never tried that function. I think 440 is the industry standard but if any other ppl commenting have an opinion, I'm open to be corrected :)
@@gearfacts thanks a lot!!!!!❤️
Does this keyboard has " Dual Voices " feature?
Hmm can't remember, might have to google that one sorry!
yes
Does it support sustain pedals? Thanks.
I don't think so, but it might be worth googling that, my memory could be wrong!
Well I’m looking for a piano with a decent price and if possible I want to connect it to an audio headset (I want to begin piano)
Yes you can connect headphones (not a mic headset though)
Gearfacts is it an Jack plug?
@@Antoine.wng5 I recommend not to get this i already have this you will get borred you will probBly boght already a new one but still :D
When I was looking for my first keyboard someone in TH-cam recommended me this, thanks the gods I didn't buy it.
haha yeah there are better options! GF
How where to buy?
Any music store can order one. Or you can get them online, most places will deliver for free.

We can use as a midi
Nope :(
Superrrrrrrrrr
I never heard of Yamaha that Touch sensitive but timbre isn't affected until now. Hahaha pretty much like unbranded cheap keyboards.
It's my keyboard and it's actually awesome like if u agree
I liked my own comment
Glad you're enjoying the F50, Dhathri :) Gearfacts
Ya
I have a F 51... congratulations...very nice keyboards
This is a toy. The missing key velocity function is a great drawback as expresiveness is impossible to achieve
Yep it looks like a toy, it's marketed as a toy, it's priced like a toy. It's a toy :)
True - however, it has better sounds than most toy keyboards.
and it has nice reverb in my opinion
Yep that's also true. I think I was just snapping at Jose's comment as it seemed a bit snooty :)
Come on man it's definitely a toy. Price show it off.
