That squirrel story reminded me of my own childhood. When I was little I had a little black dog. I used to play with that dog everyday and whenever I went to school I would tie him up in its kennel so that it won’t run away and get hit by a car. My house was by a busy road. One day I came back home and saw my dog gone. I called and searched for him for hours. I went to one of the neighbour house. My uncle was in there with several people talking and drinking. He called me in to have lunch with them. I did and took a small piece of meat. It tasted bitter so I did not finish my meal, which he then proceeded to tell me that it is a black dog meat! The men were from a country that value black dog meat because they believed it has medicinal purpose. By the size of the dish and the way they behave when I tried the meat, I truly believe they have purposely unalive my pet! I never saw my little black dog again.
38:10 Omg, that reminds me of the first and thankfully so far only time I've ever been traumatized by a SMELL. I was on the bus coming back from jury duty, and this lady gets on the bus. She looks completely normal, but as the AC in the bus circulates, there's this god-awful stench. It smelled like rotten fish meat, metal/blood, and sewage/garbage. No joke, I've never smelled anything as bad as this lady did, and it was so baffling because she didn't look unhygienic (Clean hair, clean clothes), didn't look drugged out, didn't behave in any kind of odd way. Didn't appear or act injured at all. Just smelled like the worst thing I've ever smelled. You could tell the rest of the bus passengers were uncomfortable too, but politeness dictates that nobody speaks up about it, so nobody did. A few people did get off early though, it was THAT bad. I wanted to beg the driver to drive with the doors open. This lady smelled like how any given Walking Dead zombie looks, and to this day I have no idea what could possibly cause that. I mean undoubtedly she was unhealthy in some way, but holy actual fuck, she smelled like she should have gangrene over most of her body or something. My lungs literally felt like I'd been breathing in fire smoke for a long time or something (If you live in Cali, you know what feeling). The only positive part of that experience was getting to see the faces change of the people who'd get on the bus. They'd walk in normally, hit the wall of stench, and just kind of.. freeze up for a minute, and glance around. At least it told me I wasn't overreacting. I hope that whatever was happening with her got resolved. I didn't even know a person could smell that bad without visible festering wounds or something.
Wow, I was actually seeing that in my mind 🤢🤮 I remember me, and my best friend coming home from a night out. My place being where everyone has always congregated (at least during my younger days), and so when we got there. It was people crashed out on the floor, sofa, etc. This is the Midwest winter, so my house was very warm, and the window's tightly sealed. This smell of.... Well stench is more appropriate was emanating from this 1 dudes feet, and it hit you in the face like a sledgehammer !! My friend looked at me, and me him. With a look of revulsion, and then noticed a friend Karl who was passed out on the floor. This is no imagination when I say his face was within perhaps 6" from the guy in questions feet 😂 We couldn't hold back a laugh at that, and I remember 3 girls had taken to my king-sized waterbed to get away from it 😍 We weren't done partying yet, so we got outta there before the scent became attached to our clothes 😬😂 So we took off for a while, but eventually he went home to his girlfriend. I remember running thru my house to my bedroom, and hopping in my waterbed. Where I was welcomed by the friend's there mentioned earlier. He and most other's had cleared out, and gotten dressed before me, and my lady friends rejoined the living room again. I'm sure your experience was worse, but it immediately reminded me of my own experience. My friend and I will still bring that up to this day occasionally. I'm happy you left this story 💯

Being a parent myself and hearing about what some of these other "parents" have done really makes me wonder how people can screw up something so gigantic and delicate like raising another humam?! I'm not a perfect dad by any means but i do allow my true love for my daughter guide me and her well-being guide my actions but perhaps thats not how some parents view their role or maybe theyre just so utterly broken that they cant help but be monsters?

Story 0: this is how serial killers are made. I couldn't listen to the rest of the story. My husband's father is a sociopath who isn't a stranger to the inside of a jail cell and even someone like him would not have done something so EVIL!!
The first story reminds me of a time back when I was prolly somewhere around 9 or 10 years old, and my family and i went out on a camping trip. I remember being out riding my bike around our campsite when my dad called me over to try a piece of the chicken he was cooking. So I took a bite, swallowed it & he weirdly looked at me asking me if it was good & if I liked it. I responded "yes I liked it," but told him it did taste a little differently than normal. He then laughs at me & tells me that what I had just ate was not at all chicken, but was actually RABBIT MEAT! I remembered crying and running over to my mom for comfort, hoping she would like scold my father or something for tricking me into eating bugs bunny! Lol. But she just told me I'd be okay n that it wasn't all that bad n reminded me that I did actually enjoy the small piece I did eat, lol. My dad didn't mean any harm in feeding me the rabbit at all. He wasn't a mean man whatsoever. He was the best dad ever, honestly. May he RIP... 😢❤ he just knew how picky of an eater I was as a kid & knew I wouldn't have willingly done it, had I known from the beginning what I was about to be putting in my mouth haha. He wanted me to try something new for once! He meant no harm to me. It wasn't in bad taste or a sick way of him messing around with me or anything like that.. He just wanted me to try something new, and as much as I HATED having to admit to my dad that I actually did enjoy the rabbit, I got over it and we all had a great rest of our trip! Needles to say, I did not eat anymore of the rabbit meat, though. That one bite/chunk was more than plenty enough for me for a lifetime. 😂😂
That experience was the reason that when my parents came back from their Florida trip back around that same time frame, I tried the sword fish they brought back home.. Sword fish is actually very tasty and I'm not a seafood eater AT ALL! I absolutely despise fish, shrimp, crab, all that nasty stuff I cannot stand the taste of. Anything with a fishy taste, count me out! But the fish was actually not at all fishy tasting believe it or not! It tasted more like chicken or some sort of white/light meat more than fish! The rabbit story was the reason I branched out and began to try new and different things growing up and at least giving things one single chance at tasting before immediately writing it off as something I dislike.
