Amazingly for such a nice train (but it is over 40 years old now of course) the IC125 (unlike the Australian XPT) has toilets that dump on the track. However now they have been withdrawn from long distance routes and short form (4 car) versions have been refurbished with outer sliding doors to replace the slam doors, the toilets have been upgraded to modern vacuum assisted type with effluent tanks. Search Inter7city here on TH-cam for some videos of the short from IC125s operating between the 7 main cities of Scotland (they are also being used in the West Country (Devon / Cornwall) for local stopping services).
