Watson “Morning Star” Whitford is a 16-year-old student at Navajo Preparatory School in Farmington, New Mexico. He was a central part of Leah Judson’s wonderful motion picture series called Before We Could Drink.
Originally from Panama and hailing from Washington DC, Leah Judson's image-making immortalizes tales of youth, agriculture, and indigenous communities. She has spearheaded a multicultural, all-women's portrait series called, BEHOLD.HER, recently drove a retrofitted bus around the United States to film, Before We Could Drink, a mini-series centered on American youth defying expectations for their age.
