Just for future reference buddy, when bolting anything on a motor you always use a st ar pattern. So say on your flywheel, you have 5 bolts. After you tighten your first one move to the one directly across from it. It's just to make sure everything is flat on its mating surface.
As a Millwright i can not stress this Enough. Proper Torque Technique Is Extremely Important Especially On Highspeed / High Vibration Machines. Circles Get a Star and Rectangles Are Center-Out Like a Spiral.
On my 91 chevy i replaced the slave cylinder N master cylinder and nothing changed after bleeding. Any ideas? Also while i had the slave cylinder out i used two screw drivers to move the. Arm back and forth. Is there suppose to be spring back?
Whats up? Nice video, also have a 1993 except mine is the sonoma. I am about to pull my transmission to see whats going on, because i cant get into gear with my t5. Just recently learned that its actually world class! Hasn't given me any issues in about 4 years of ownership until now. My truck only has ~112,000 miles on it so i hope to get as much out of this motor as i can before doing any swaps down the road.
Q. I have a 1995 s10 chevy.4cyner. 5speed. Cluth is going bad. I removed air from it. That helped alittle. The master cylinder is good! Ok.....does this truck have a slave master cylinder?? If so I can't find it. Could it be the release bearing which is in the tranmission. And for the first time today I noticed it leaking where the transmission bolts up to the engine
Sup bro do you have a diagram for all the houses I’m tryna redue all my lines on my 83 s15 I got it an a whole bunch of the lines were crossed and broken also my clutch lost pressure an I can’t bleed it so you think my clutch is bad my 83 only got 50,000 miles plz lmk
It's about time you started wearing gloves (XD Awesome video! Actually, I'm no car guy and I have little idea of what you're doing, but it's entertaining!
Channel C.G.E. mine was 17mm. I was just curious because I didn't wanna roll around in puddles to find it out lol love the content! I like the truck, man! :D

I was about to say that.

Just like when you change a tire, if not you will end up with a wobbly wheel or a warped rotor.
Looks to me he did use Star pattern
Sure do appreciate you sharing your knowledge, God bless!!!
Thank you so much for this video I’ve never replaced a clutch before so you helped me out a lot
Thank you was the best video I watched to show me how to put my truck back together….great video
Coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it driving again.
Me too!! Hopefully It'll be on the road again within the next month. Thanks for watching!
Was this on a 2.8 v6
@@jimmycruiserrI’m actually in the same process as we speak and I need visuals on how the clutch fork sits and stays in place with the trans out.
she's coming back together nicely.
Yep! Finally! Can't wait to whip it again this summer. Thanks for watching dude!
She I didn't know it had a vagina
What about the pilot bearing

Same... there's just something about these old square bodies. Can't wait to get mine back together! Thanks for watching :D
Don't forget pilot bearing
Nice...!!! Im working on my chevy clutch too.
Did you mark the clutch does it have to go in certain way when you install it or no
While u have it out u should put all new gaskets on oil pan , transmission ect ect...
Exciting stuff to see it starting to come together again!
It sure is! I am super excited to start getting things pulled together again. Thanks for watching!

Thanks!! That is awesome, good luck with the transmission issue! If you take good care of it I'm sure it'll last a long time, mine has 210,000 miles!
Channel C.G.E. Yours also has the same world class transmission, it was a transition year. Apparently good for up to 300 ft lbs or so of torque!
Great video man
Hickory Grove rd. Gastonia NC.
what about pilot bearing
Ya where the hell is the pilot bearing?
Would be Very Helpful if you gave Socket Sizes and Torque Specs as you go. TY
So if the clutch fork and bearing fall off behind the pressure ineed to take it off correct
Dude appreciate the help man
You got it!
Thank you sir!
i have another dumb question... what clutch did you use? mine want fit on the flywheel...
Really? That is odd.. I got mine off rockauto.com, both the clutch and flywheel were LUK brand... good luck!

What happened that you changed all that?
I got the 2002 and the flywheel keep breaking, why? Automatic. Chevy s10
Does anyone know what transmission is in the early 90s s10? Is it a nv1500 or 3500 I’m not sure and can’t find a source that has that information
My 93 with the 2.8l 5speed uses the Borg T5
What part is that release bearing? I can’t seem to find the right one
National 614083 on my T5
How did you remove that pressure plat
What is the torque specs on the clutch cover plate
It's about time you started wearing gloves (XD Awesome video!
Actually, I'm no car guy and I have little idea of what you're doing, but it's entertaining!
Haha, yes... I am usually too lazy to put gloves on. You'd think I'd learn, right? Lol Thanks bro, glad you enjoy the vids!
PT 2?
How long would it take to change a clutch on a 98 s10
Juan Campos depends on your experience and time you got
Is nothing u can do that in one weekeend
I just got me a clutch kit can I reuse the flywheel
Yeah of course! I was unable to reuse mine because it was slightly warped
Okay your transmission is the nv3500 right do you remember how many bolts it has to remove it
I think it was 6 bolts?
Okay so i got 4 off the side so 2 more on top damn there hard to get to
They sure can be lol
I got to replace the clutch on my 98 s10 after 170k miles. Fuck me this is going to be tricky. first time lol
do you have to take the motor out to install the flywheel and clutch?
No
won't be long now
I hope so!
Hey man! I love the project. Im curious what size of socket you used on your flywheel bolts?
Thank you! :D I can't remember exactly but I want to say either a 15MM or an 18MM
Channel C.G.E. mine was 17mm. I was just curious because I didn't wanna roll around in puddles to find it out lol love the content! I like the truck, man! :D
+SketchyatBest Oh that’s right!!! I forgot it was an odd size lol. Thanks man, appreciate it! And good luck (:
