Yea it works I got a tip for u. Try a rattlin rap without the vibration paint it white the same way your fishing don't jig it drop it down 8 to 12ft off bottem when u see them come up do a constant retrieve its more natural smelt movement they don't jig up and down they swim to the surface to escape the Lakers

Try not jigging it and a constant retrieve to the surface it's more natural for smelt movement I have style similar to this took awhile to figure out lure choice and technique

Do you use the same graph to run your live scope and your transducer off the back? Or running 2 separate units?

    • @BendItFishing

I can run it off the same unit, normal 2d transducer and livescope. Currently I'm running one with 2d and mapping and the other with livescope

Thanks very much. Lake George is where I usually fish, but I never tried looking for trout at speed.@@BendItFishing

Saves you a bunch of time, looking for bait is easier because the school can be huge. Looking for Lakers unless they are schooled up can be tricky

to each their own but personally i find relying on tech to find ur fush is lame and lackingvin skill

I find that using a rod and reel is lame. If you had any skill you could just use a cane pole and worms, or handline the fish.
