For migraines in the air, i get the crew to fashion an icepack by filling a air sick bag with ice. It's so soothing. The only thing truly helps, of course take some meds, too.

I flew Etihad First to Washington back in September and I don’t think I had one fifth of the lounge experience you had. Don’t get me wrong it was a great lounge with great food, but the level of service you experienced was absolutely unbelievable.

I had the pleasure of travelling in Etihad's First cabin a few weeks ago and you manage to capture the hard product and service offerings really well. Similar to Abu Dhabi v Dhabi, I feel Etihad is the more grown up, less flashy, classier version.
I have the same headache problem. It happens when you sit or lay down with your neck bending too long. Try massaging the back of your neck and head, it helps

Awesome flight report again Marcel... hope the remaining 3 A380 Etihad flights won't take as long to publish! On the subject of A380s though, also my favourite plane, and maybe Etihad will have the sense to acquire a few more since 2nd hand they apparently are only about 50mln USD... and ultimately, hope Emirates will twist Airbus's arm enough they'll launch an A380NEO... just have the factory in the Emirates like Airbus have an A320 line in Tianjin, PR China...

Excellent video, it would have been really interesting to know how the crew would have helped manage your migraine. I am sure they would have had a medic on board and possible medication that could help you, possibly a cold towel or massage solution. It would have been really interesting had you reported your symptoms, maybe it was due to cabin air pressure? Excellent editing and storytelling, thank you :)
Lots of praises, but Marcel's videos are so delayed and I notice that since covid when it was still acceptable... his videos and experiences tend to be history even though he tries to get best qualty... this is clearly an example of a law of diminishing returns.. josh and noel get to 80% of his quality, also sam... he is more artistic than others who are commercially focussed too. By the time Marcel videos get telecast, the airline might have changed service levels...

This is less of a video and more of an "experience"! Stunning filming. Etihad really are a wonderful airline which I've flwon many times; it was very sad when the A380s were discontinued (I was worried they'd never return) but thankfully they have. I love the Business class cabin but am yet to try First on the A380.
I've been waiting for this video for a while. I've been waiting for a video without all of the false excitement of your typical run of the mill travel influencer. This is an excellent video. You forget it's just one guy for the cinematography.
I know the problem with the headache too well. I usually get it on the very best flights in first class, since it is so hard to not go all in with the indulgence. How can you not say yes to all the spirits, wine, and cocktails along with the stunning food. By the time i go to sleep, i usually had too much, didn't hydrate and are stuffed. More and more i steer away from drinking, since without rest, the whole point of the ticket becomes senseless.
Marcel, this is beautifully done. I can't even think of how you managed to take some of the shots without thinking you would have a photographer with you at all time. You've set the bar for flight review. I glad I watched this on my projector TV instead of on my phone.
Sir, thank you for having the class to dress in a dress coat. Really tired of seeing so many tank tops, t shirts go into FC. If you have enough for first class you have enough to buy proper attire. I try to compliment men your age when i see them doing above the minimum. Thank you again........From a Baby boomer that still wears coat and tie daily......

We will see what happens. EY still has 6 of their own left in Teruel - if the comeback of the A380 has taught us anything its never say never.

This is less of a video and more of an "experience"! Stunning filming. Etihad really are a wonderful airline which I've flwon many times; it was very sad when the A380s were discontinued (I was worried they'd never return) but thankfully they have. I love the Business class cabin but am yet to try First on the A380.
Both are excellent products. First Class has the added space and privacy and is definitely a step up.
