Captain (aka CEO) of Jazzy Sport. A member of Cinema Caravan.Poland is his origin of birth.
Masaya is a living representative of the soul of Jazzy Sport...spiritually free, borderless, simple but unique yet still keeping that b-boy stance...
His love for music started from playing the piano at a young age. Heavily influenced by living the surrounding of Jazz music, Masaya gradually found the same vibe and dopeness into early 90's Hiphop. After spending 4 years djing at one of the well known spots in Morioka City called "DJ Bar Dai", he came back to Tokyo and joined one of the pioneer street music label in Japan ("File Record") upon graduation from university. He established "Jazzy Sport" in 2001 and started to dig out (now known worldwide) talented cats like DJ Mitsu the Beats and Cro-Magnon. Masaya himself continuously create new vision and sound with numerous collaborations with fellow artists such as “Breakthrough” (DJ Jin (Rhymester) + Ladi Dadi + Freedom Chicken (14 Catherine) + Masaya); “Physical Sound Sport” (Ladi Dadi + Okuda Spa + Masaya); and the production team “Tettory BLK” (Simbad + Grooveman Spot + Masaya). he has been experienced 6times euro tour as dj/ 16countries.
On the "Sport" side of thing, Masaya has been as live as his label has been. In 2006, he won the championship on Adidas futsal tournament in Japan and finished 2nd Place in the world title. Masaya has done a collaboration tour with famous ski brand “Vector Glide”, and has been a contributor to the promoting of “Mountaineering” in Japan, hosting DJs at The North Face Cup / the national climbing championships. He has been a live representation of "Jazzy Sport", and a true definition of a “creative athlete”. after 2010,he has been more focusing to connect asian countries through japan,jazzy sport.

Former UN worker. Based in Kamakura, Japan.
Japanese, a part of French. roots in Lyon.
Back in '93, involved with party organize team Life Force. They brought the culture from England and created Rave scene in Japan.
At that time, Mikey had one kind of relationship with young talents in England such as the cult record dealer "DJ Nick The Record" and many others and took a big part of genesis of Rave scene in Japan.
His "Dedication" was first started as silk screen T-shirt line established in Venice Beach, California and eventually became recording project that had a developed out the companionship with phenomenon "DJ Felix Dickinson"(UK) who is a founder of DISCO DUB.
In 2005, Dedication's first 12inch record "SUNDANCE EP was released from CYNIC RECORD(UK) which was collaborated with world widely popular dance band "Cro-Magnon"(JAZZY SPORT) . Another new single was released right after from DFA Record(US) and got a reputation. He created a connection between world underground scene and Kamakura with music,art,surfin,skate mind.
Mikey also perform as a afro-drummer and joins recording or live session for DRUM RITUAL, JUZU a.k.a Moochy, and Nexus drum ensemble.
Recently, he travels world such as SPAIN/BASQUE, as a DJ with artistic mobile theater CINEMA CARAVAN
and also as a member of world widely popular label "Jazzy Sport".
He runs ”IVORY T-shirt&Graphic”and does live silk screen printing sometime.
