Forgiveness is power and it's a warrior's strategy. Forgiveness means "you stop making that person or situation your God and stop expecting from them." Forgiveness means to fully understand the person, their background, their weaknesses, limitations and compulsions...and then give them space in your mind. They will feel lighter and in return you will feel even lighter. Then you move on by saying to yourself in your head: "You are not God, you are only human like me. I am sorry I didn't study you and understand you fully. I am sorry to have put so much burden on you and make huge & unrealistic expectations from you. I am sorry that I didn't analyse you as you don't have the power to repay me or solve my problem. I am sorry for considering you my God." I forgive you. Because we all need forgiveness, space and understanding.
