What locking setup would I need where I want to lock the swivels but keep the wheels spinning freely? This is for a mechanic tool CART so it will be heavy somewhat but not fully loaded like a toolbox. Thanks in advance
Hi Martin, On our medium / heavy duty cater series has a option on the swivel casters called a "Swivel Lock" and this allows you to engage a swivel lock anytime you need with a pull ring. You can simply pull the pull ring and turn it and it will engage a piece of steel inside a slot on the swivel raceway transforming the swivel into a fixed caster. It is very simple to use and works really well if you need to lock the swivel but still roll the wheels.
how much weight can they have, i have a woodworking machine that is about 700 kg and it has a one hole, bolt caster underneath it, but my floor is having a sloop as well so i need casters that can break fully and i can level out
For your application I recommend a leveling caster. These will allow you to level out, lock, and hold a high www.casterhq.com/LevelingCasters-s/115.htm Thank you, Jordan Wilson CasteHQ
What recommendation would you have for casters going on a 4500 lb mill
Nice video ! Good Job !
Thank you.
can these be used to tranport tool carts in a van? you know instead of tying it down with straps?
The top locking brakes i have for my casters from caster HQ are terrible. Does not lock at all. I wish I had purchased the total lock.

How many of the total locking casters would I need on a traditional dolly? Only for the back wheels or all 4 wheels? Thanks!
Dang! That is also my question. Too bad they didn't answer you. = (
I would recommend either 2 total locking and on the same side by side ort all 4 total locking.
Is there a swivel caster that can be locked into a vertical position for straight steering?
Hi John, Yes we have a device called a swivel lock. You can email me for more info. Sales@casterhq.com
