I get out of bounds all the time. Here's a tip to load the area: Crouch and move your camera around underneath your person. Sometimes you'll have you walk around a bit too so you can find that sweet spot, but you'll get it to work.

that checkerboard room is what is called a skybox. all unreal engnine game engine use them to spawn collision mesh. (the ship you can walk on). the dumb devs just forgot to move it :P cool find though!
That room I believe is a dev room, I've seen footage of the devs playing in a room with the same grid-texture, possibly they have a method of getting into there for testing and debugging.
I bet Ordis is infected, that's why his personality and voice glitch out so often. If I am right there will probably be a quest where you have to heal him or something like that

to me its a testing place there are wires connected on overlapping boxes but the weird thing is why is simmilar to the place when i need to save the reservoir in the last mission

If you had stood in the same spot, but aimed for the 3rd metal strip from the bottom (those lines on the windshield), you can jump through easily.
