Invisible man is by far the easiest to include, if they just do some of the stuff that Extraterrorestrial did; have the shoulder bars on the seats bob up and down, "oh no, hes standing on top of my seat!", some speakers by your head, "oh no, hes whispering in my ear!", etc.
How I’d have the invisible man in the ride is at the end of the ride and you hear a voice go ‘did you forget somebody?’ And a spray of air hits the back of your head making you jump to which you hear the invisible man cackles as you get off the ride
I just want to let you know I have watched every single one of your videos... I absolutely love your insight, ideas of the future of the parks, and your great sense of humor. You have done an excellent job once again! I get so excited when you post another video... keep up the great work (I don't understand why Universal isn't beating down your door to hire you).
I really hope this ride does so well it gives disney for a run for its money so they can have competition and it gives universal ideas to use more physical animontronics and bring universal to their roots. (Still on my wish list they make a Classic universal studios land with the original themes but im dreaming)
With Invisible Man you can also do clever special effects to indicate he’s in the room. I wonder in Hunchback will be there? I believe 1923’s Hunchback was Universal’s first “monster” movie.
100% agree that this will be THE attraction that defines Epic Universe (at least for phase 1). My only concern is the intense nature of the experience. I hope Universal isn’t pushed to tone it down (a la Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom). Bring on the scares!
It's been a long time since we've seen the classic Lon Chaney Phantom of The Opera! It's a breath of fresh air from the Broadway version that in the modern day has completely overshadowed another iconic depiction of the character (at least in the mainstream).
Im interested in how they will handle the theming on Monsters Unchained considering there are no obstructions blocking your field of vision. I think you are really gonna feel surrounded and hopefully somewhat terrified by the monsters. They could easily hit you with air sprays, sound effects behind you, making you feel helpless lol. I honestly believe we simply arent ready for an attraction of this quality; there are potentially like 5 major "showstopper" moments I can think of.
I love walking out of a show like The Horror Make-Up Show and into a creature like The Creature from the Black Lagoon in the shop so how dope is it going to be on a ride with a live action animatronic!?! It's gonna B EPIC!!!
Okay, but having an Invisible Man meet and greet with an empty chair and a hidden actor interacting with guests with a microphone would be really fun and cool.
I always love how excited you sound about this ride lol. This is by far the land that I'm most excited for, along with How to Train Your Dragon. From the animatronic previews we've gotten for this ride, I'm absolutely going nuts for it.
I too am looking forward to this ride and the land, most! Great video as always! I really hope they include Vincent Price's line from the one Abbot and Costello movie. Mr. Price says something like, "well I'm the Invisible Man"!
I would consider the new HP ride to be the spiritual successor to spiderman, so it could be pretty special also. It will be interesting to see which system will be used more in future projects or if they keep developing new systems.
Ok 2 more things 1. What if? plot twist, we are the monsters unchained?? I look at the ride vehicles and looks like we are locked in probably part of her experiment. Maybe even an offering to dracula to lure him in. 2. I really hope the statues in the queue move. Slowly and slightly. So that they are never in the same position each time you look. 😂
Can't wait for after Epic Universe.... 1. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit - closing mid 2025 to be a based on Transmogrified Roller Coaster ghostbusters 2. If donkey kong country is a major hit what do you think about the idea of a Luigis Mansion Land between nintendoland and monster universe to make a great transition
@@CobbleBompster yeah i do attractions commissioning at Epic Universe and my home venue is minecart madness. It's a fun ride, but probably won't blow people away
@themeparkenthusiast771 it just means they will be the projected most popular attractions. I just checked Japan and wait times for every Nintendo ride is over 2 hours.
This is the most epic Jason vs Freddy vs Michael vs Ghostface vs hellraiser battle ever. And like I’m in the middle of it? I already peed my pants a little, NGL. 😮
I'm feeling it will be between this and Battle of the Ministry for number 1. Stardust Racers number 3. Donkey Kong has its moments, but will end up being fairly mid
I have the exact same standpoint. Based off of Japan’s Minecart Madness POV’s, I don’t really see it being anything better than mediocre… that being said, I cannot really judge it until I’ve actually ridden it.
Well people may still go to WDW but instead going for 4-5 days throughout their vacation they may only be going 1-2 days. We'll see what happens there.
@@metallicnole4514 yes but again but for Joe many days will they go in the future? That wide demographic you mention doesn’t seem I be going right now because WDW’s attendance is down and has been since Covid. I don’t foresee that that getting any better and there’s nothing enticing those people to come and won’t be for quite some time.
@@ducktails1695 To be fair, all theme parks have not fully recovered after the pandemic. I can't foresee what is gonna happen with dinsey's attendance. However I don't see universal's attendance overtaking disney's.
The only reason Invisible Man is absent from the ride is if he is invisible.
Also because he's a chill guy
Invisible man is by far the easiest to include, if they just do some of the stuff that Extraterrorestrial did; have the shoulder bars on the seats bob up and down, "oh no, hes standing on top of my seat!", some speakers by your head, "oh no, hes whispering in my ear!", etc.

They could also have a footstep effect where parts of the floor shaped like footprints lower down. Or a screen, idk
I love this. Fan service, horror, and fun all in one effect
Oh, yeah! Just like the footprints in the snow in the original 1933 The Invisible Man movie!
they could use small gusts of air to make it feel like he’s touching you
This is the correct take
I would honestly still go to Epic Universe even if all I could do was Dark Universe.
Ditto
Same. It’s what I’ve been most excited for since it was first announced. So unique

The animatronics
The scare factor
The effects
Possible vehicle movement. edit: 4:04 see this is what I’m saying

So glad that he gives the reasons for his opinions. Makes this so much more enjoyable (and relatable).
The invisible man animatronic was the cheapest to make!

It’s kinda hard to make the Invisible Man scary anymore, since invisibility is more associated with superheroes and wizards now… 🤔

If no invisible man = 0/10

My money is on Frankenstein
Low key for Nintendo world i want a pikmin ride im mean there the only other Nintendo game that has anything there at the park
did you see in Japan, there are hidden pikmin!!
@wolfieeeee256 yep that why we need a pikmin theme ride
It needs to be like a slow water ride or something

I wonder if the classic mummy from the 1932 film will be involved.
He is but he is scarier. You can see him on the picture of monsters unchained but upside down if you look closer. He shows it in the video
