i think that they missed very important point in the translation. Yang doesn't say "lilly, let's go" but "Lilly, let'sgo back home" which has much more profond meaning - the affirmed that he concidered her as a part of his family and that the base of Lao-shu is her home, her special place. It's very romantic of him
