  • The rice terraces in Ubud, Bali were amazing. We went to Alas Harum where they made the rice terraces a work of art. They turned a small valley into an amazing oasis of green. It was fun to take pictures in each of the Instagram spots, walk along the stone paths, cross the hanging bridges, and explore the beautiful grounds. Many visitors put on these long, colorful dresses and swung out across the rice terraces. At first we didn't know what we were walking into, but we quickly fell in love with this place. It really was fun and so beautiful!
Afterwards, we went to dinner at a fancy hotel and had some delicious food. The pineapple stir-fried rice was served in the pineapple itself. Sam's chicken burger was huge and really delicious. Grace and Mom were kind to share their yummy pizzas. Since it is in Bali, the prices for all this food was pretty cheap.
It was a great day in Ubud!

What an adorable family. New subscriber here. Your kids seems to be very well mannered, genuinely enjoying the experience and one good thing is they know how to appreciate even the smallest things around them.

While in Bali, Water Boom will be fun for a family. There are a lot of waterfalls in Bali. You could visit Sekumpul waterfall, it's awesome.

I imagine if Nyepi Day ( Silent Day ), which is currently being carried out in Bali - Indonesia, is also carried out in Ukraine and Russia for just one day, so that their leaders can introspect, contemplate what they have done to nature and its creatures, maybe the next day. one day there will be a truce for peace. 😁
