I just tired Lie de Thé in a TWSBI Eco and absolutely love it! It's a warm brown that shades so, so well with this fountain pen. It's one of my most favorite inks now. Thanks for this good review video.

You're welcome, Christa! Herbin does such a good job with medium saturation inks like Lie de Thé. They are a joy to write with and I like that many of them have a water resistant grey component. 😀

I love this ink, just ordered a 100 ml bottle.

My go to ink!!! The ink that I would safely declare, as my one-ink-collection if I'm forced to choose Cathy! :)

KWZ Honey was the go-to ink for my E95s, but I think I'm going to switch to Lie de Thé.

I have this ink and like it. It is always a difficult choice which kind of nib to use. thanks Cathy for showing me the variety.

Nice thorough review. I appreciate your careful analysis. I like the look of this color ; it reminds me of Diamine Sepia.

Thank you for reviewing this ink. I will continue looking for a redder tea ink. I hope this month is a blessing for you.

It’s good to know that it works in a very wet pen. I haven’t tried my sample in a pen yet.
I’m having trouble finding a good pen for my Writer’s Blood, it’s so wet and it keeps spreading.

I bought one of the little bottles of Writer's Blood, but I haven't written with it since I did the writing samples for my video. I'm planning on using it with my Pilot steel fine calligraphy nib. I'm hoping that it's a dry enough writer that I won't have the bleeding. 🤞

Sounds like a nightmare of an ink that performs too differently depending on paper /: Helpful review!

I finally swapped out the Writer's Blood ink that's so wet it wants to vomit all over the page, and put Diamine Red Dragon in my Lucina. Now it has no ink flow quirks and is an absolute delight to use.

I bought a bottle of Writer's Blood to use with my Pilot steel stub nibs, which tend to write a little dry, but I haven't done any lengthy testing. I'm very pleased with the performance of the Lucina fine nib with Lie de Thé. Now I'm eager to try it with some of my favorite inks. 😀
