What a ride. Thanks for sharing it with us! ❤
Man, loved this series. I watched almost every episode of the digging for gold, and then the episodes where the grades came back. Thank you for letting us be a part of that journey!
Glad you like them! Was a fun long journey.
What a finish to a great journey! Glad to see what you were able to accomplish and share with everybody. Keep the content coming and love the channel💪
Thanks! Will do Brett!!
Wow absolutely awesome series, Thanks for sharing the journey with us. Cant wait until you buy the next collection!!
Glad you like them!
Sad to see this series come to an end, but thanks for the amazing work sharing the ride with us all.
My pleasure! More great content coming.
This entire series was epic Cajun! Look forward to whatever's next!
Thanks my friend. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
I've watched every episode. Congrats on a deal that really seemed to work well for both you and the seller. I would never have the guts to put that kind of investment into the purchase. Anything I have that is worth a significant amount is because I bought it many years ago and has stayed in my collection ever since.
Epic video series you did on breaking down this massive collection and a big congrats for you finally completing it!! What an Amazing accomplishment and all the priceless educational content you provided many new and old collectors around the world! Keep up the great content and rock on for Cajun eternity 😄
Thanks so much for watching along. It was fun. Sad it’s over. On to the next one.
Man, thanks so much for allowing us to watch this journey with you. I have watched every single video, excellent job! Congrats on adding so many great cards to your PC.
Marty thanks for watching. A lot of fun and a lot of work and I learned so much about Jordan cards during the past year.
Enjoyed that journey!
Made it to the end and loved every minute of it. Now on to the hierarchy series.
Oh Jesse thanks for watching. Buckle up. The hierarchy is awesome and welcome to the channel!!!
Sad to see the end too mate, was a great journey. Great work in capturing it all too, helluva lot of time put in for sure, really enjoyed it thanks👍
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for always supporting.
Thanks Cajun - Videos were great and appreciate the content. Between this and hierarchy I have definitely upped my Jordan collecting game.
Great to hear!
Great work!!! What a journey. Thanks for allowing us to sit shotgun for it. Looking forward to whatever your next big project is.
You should do a funny video where you send in all the cards psa wouldn't grade in one big order to see the results 😂
That would be funny! Can you imagine getting back 50 N6 min size? They may think I’m a convicted trimmer if I did that. 😂😂😂
A special journey following this from the beginning. Sad to see it done truth be told. Looking forward to seeing what the next big Cajun Project will be. Thanks for the great content Bryan!
I’ve got something pretty cool planned. I keep putting it off.
Dude you’re an animal. What a ride! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a journey! Didn’t consider this would actually ever finish. Great content ❤
Love seeing all the data, thanks for sharing!
As much grading as you do, I knew you would appreciate it, my friend! Thanks for watching
Thanks very much for the series :).
Glad you like them!
I am sad it's over because you turned me into a Jordan collector . Thanks for every thing CAJUN.
Welcome my friend. Collecting MJ stuff is never dull.
“I bought a 35,000 card collection” ummmmm 😅😂😂😂 holy smokes 😂
I've been wondering for a while, but did I miss the Jason Williams star rubies reveal?
It’s the one card I sold raw.
What’s up brother. Awesome video. I wanna know your (and anyone else who reads this). In your opinion what would you sell/value a 1986 star court kings in a PSA 8?? I’d love to buy some of your mj cards
Its sorta weird but i am sad this journey is over. Thank you for all the phenomenal contant. Your videos were time well spent watching by me. Whats the best way to communicate with you about purchasing leftovers?
Instagram DM Matt.
@@cajuncardboard sounds good and I did. Thanks
Wanted to ask if you have a promo for goldin as well? If not no worries gonna send to either pwcc and maybe a few to goldin.
Cory first thank you so much for thinking about supporting the channel, no I’m only an affiliate partner with PWCC at the moment so my promo code CAJUN only applies to PWCC submissions and sales. Thanks for thinking of me my friend. 🙌
@@cajuncardboard thanks my guy yeah my sales on eBay have not worked out since I sold most of my collection in 2008 due to house stuff and now with my brothers car wreck on Xmas Eve and recovering from cancer myself and lost my job all in the last 3 years so any advice on how long it usually takes to start selling thanks sorry to bother you. Enjoy your collection though man wish I had some of my old stuff
Did you have paid part time help in all of this?
No sir. 100% me. Thats why it took so damn long. Hahaha
Hey love the content extreme Jordan fan I have access to rare Jordan collections just missing a few components would like to give a little more Intel but not here what's best way we can elaborate more?
DM on Instagram.
Ok cool
It’s fair to say the CC collection was dependent on the jordan rubies grade….that was the ace in the hole.
It didn’t hurt. I’d have been happy with any numerical grade.
18.9% gem rate on Jordans is phenomenal, I actually thought it would be under 10%
Me too it felt that way.
Not when 90% of the that 18% is base cards or Italian jordan cards. If you watch the videos those were the best submissions. I’m not hating I love Cajun videos. But if you really dig in on the videos where the gem rate was high it was a return where the Jordan’s were like foreign cards. And the main problem with that is that there’s no way Bob took better care of his base cards than he did his high end inserts. So it just doesn’t make sense. These are the most detailed Jordan videos out by far though
You make a great point, but you have to factor in that the vast majority of those Upper Deck cards have white borders all the way around front and back, so they tend to grade well. Also, the high-end inserts had a very complex printing process with multiple layers of ink, materials, etc, that just haven't held up well over the years. That being said, it would be foolish to think they aren't POP controlling the high end card's to a degree
This may be off topic but maybe not so, speaking of soccer. Who are your favorite national teams for Copa America and Euro 2024 this summer?
Brazil or Argentina and England if you made me choose. But of course Portugal Spain France and Germany amongst others in Europe will be formidable.
@@cajuncardboard Nice! 👍
Star rubies psa 8. It’s worth it for that alone
What did you end up doing with the leftover bulk?
My friend this was so long ago. I have no idea.
I sold most of the psa slabs I didn’t keep to local breakers and repackers back then or listed on fanatics weekly auctions.
It would be cool to see the gem % and other grades by estimated card value. Especially on the Jordans
I thought about doing that, but then it didn’t make sense. What really matters would be the gym percentage of cards submitted within certain raw value parameters which was something that I could not calculate bc I didn’t have that data.
@@cajuncardboard yeah that's a good point, it's too bad the only way to access most of this data is behind paywalls like cardladder. Even then you're at the mercy of their UI/UX.
I was thinking use the value of the most common PSA grade for each card. I.E. if 60% of the pop is 8s then use the psa 8 price as the 'raw value'
Anyways, these videos are great. It's a nice change of pace from the rest of the hobby... ppl buying cards at shows just to sell on whatnot for +20% every weekend is getting pretty old.
