Captain Toolan was my company commander (Golf 2/7) from about 82-84 (or thereabouts). Great man. Lead from the front (along with our First Sergeant, 1st Sgt. Gonzales).

I played Rugby with General Tolan when he was a Captain
He was a first class officer and human being
We won the Military Championship that year

I got to meet him at the USO the most down to earth guy and always had time for his marines.I thought he was from wounded warrior regiment and his sergeant major said do you know who he is I said is he famous? and Toolan said" Im infamous"
