  • Montessori vs Waldorf: Whats the difference? 🤔 Montessori prioritizes individualized learning and structured classrooms for independent thinking, while Waldorf emphasizes holistic development through arts, nature, and imaginative play.
We chose the Montessori approach because it aligns with our parenting style but we also apply some of the Waldorf philosophies because it further nurtures our child’s development.
I will explain the difference and similarities of Montessori vs Waldorf so you can select the best school or method for your child.

I thought I had to choose for so long. The truth is, if you're homeschooling, you can use the best of both worlds.

Yes there is a lot of flexibility if you homeschool. You don't have to follow it by the book. Modify it as it works with your family.

Where can I get the wooden peg board and table your family eats in?

Hi thanks for the comment. This peg board was discontinued but this is the closest alternative I could find: shrsl.com/4c0ja
Same for the table, the company doesn't have it any more but a great option is the Sprout weaning table (fas.st/t/ubkJkTS4) and you can use code LATINX10 to save 10%. I hope this helps.

I find the aversion to technology disturbing. We live in a tech-filled world and its important for the next generation to know how these things work.

I agree that technology is around us and it is important they learn how it works. But it does not substitute hands-on exploration and learning because it does not provide sensorial stimulation, something that is important in the early years.
