While the original plan was to reach Naran, we decided to stop at New Balakot as night fell, passing through the beautiful landscapes of Mansehra, Balakot, Abbottabad, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi along the way.

A lot has changed since the 2005 earthquake in Mansehra and other areas. The last time I visited Naran in 2016, it took 6 hours to travel from Abbottabad

Actually kkh start from thakot it's a small town but as you are going towards naran so you're not travelling on kkh till you cross babasar pas and then you will be connecting to kkh as kkh is from thakot and passing through batagram, besham , dasso and Chilas and then gilgit
Absolutely agreed but N35 ka name bhi KKH kerdiya hai so that’s why I said. But the original what the world looks forward to off course starts from Thakot area.
