This song is awesome, so anointed. I'm gonna dance wilder than before in gonna praise his name louder than before I'm gonna jump higher than before in gonna spin I'm gonna run faster than before, freedom I'm talking about freedom. Woo, this sing is AWESOME. When I think of his goodness and what he's done for me when I think of his goodness and how he set me free I'm gonna dance dance all night, I'm gonna shout, I'm gonna run, I'm gonna leap, I'm gonna praise, I'm gonna spin, I'm gonna shout sho
Hey for all you who don't understand Pentecostal style praise and worship - you couldn't possibly understand what we who celebrate freedom in Christ until you walk a mile in our shoes. If you were set free and delivered in the same way I was then you would understand, when the subject of Jesus comes up, I can't HELP but praise! He gave His life for me! I will sing and shout and jump and praise until the day I see Him face to face! You can sit in the Baptist section in heaven I suppose. :)
Our church is having a Holy Ghost Crusade this weekend and this is our theme! God is bringing freedom to Painesville, Ohio!!! Keep praising God IBC!!!!
Whew! I have to say I was feeling the Holy Ghost right here in the kitchen while I was listening to this video. God is amazing to grant such freedom to worship with all we have!
If Jesus didn't back up the music or songs you are singing, there wouldn't be so much anointing and I can feel the Lord while I listen to these songs so it doesn't matter what others say as long as He backs you up. :)
great comment i agree completely. Some people get over shadowed in being nit picky keep up the faith I promise the longer your in it the better it gets MUCH RESPECT
Psalm 150:1 -6;1-Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.2-Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.3-Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.4-Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.5-Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.6-Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
clap a little louder than before I wanna sing a little louder than before, Oh I wanna jump higher than before I wanna shout a little louder before, Oh Freedom I wanna clap a little louder than before I wanna sing a little louder than before, Oh I wanna jump higher than before I gotta scream a little louder than before, Oh I wanna lift my hands higher than before I wanna love you more than before, Oh I wanna worship deeper than before I wanna shout a little louder than before, Oh No more shackles, no more chains No more bondage, I am free Yeah Hallelujah [Tag] I am free to run, I am fr
I agree with all those who know the POWER, GIFTS and FIRE of the HOLY GHOST. Praise Him in the dance, shout unto God with the voice of Triumph. Praise God louder and with more life than you do for a home run, touchdown or slam dunk. Give God PRAISE. David's wife Michal despised David for his worship to God. David and the people shouted, leaped and danced before the Ark of God. Read II Samuel 6 and get soem passion and fire in your life. Stop listening to the dried up, lukewarm hypocrites.
Before anyone's starts bashing my comments. I know it's not all about the music. I wrote a sermon titled, When The Music Stops, it's about us needing to get past dancing to a rhythm and entering into a higher realm of God a place of perfect praise where it's just you and God and nothing else matters. Music is good though, it can help someone get started on the way to a higher place if praise, the lyrics can be great, the sing can be anointed, you just gotta feel after God.
@jdjakegeorge Thats true the presence of God does bring conviction but it also brings joy and one way joy is expressed its by jumping and running and praising the name of the Lord I just find it hard to believe that someone is sinning because the r listening to rock or they are listening to rap or whatever when in reality the words of the songs exalt God thats what a real song to God is words that exalt his name
the bible says sing a new song unto the Lord...... I dont see why ppl decide to start judging one another just by style of music seriously cant we just focused on the great thing God is still doing because all i can see is that it doesnt matter on the beat or style what matters is what the song says and who its for ppl judge to quickly and u dont know if God likes it or not GBY
I remember that church being built. As a matter of fact I helped as much as I could as young as I was. That was twenty or more years ago. That IS the Holy Spirit pouring out on that place. It hasn't changed since I can remember. So it doesn't matter what name you've given it these days. And it doesn't matter what song is being sung either. What matters is the worship. Maybe if you spent more time doing just that, worship, you wouldn't be bashing how other people do it.
@sensibleadult I am not suggesting we should sin however, just as someone stated earlier the Word says that we should "sing to the Lord a new song". Our God does not change. His message never changes. The methods we use to bring people to Him DO change. I don't believe there is anything wrong with that. He has changed my life and now my goal is for Him to use me to reach others. I will use whatever means necessary outside of sin to make that happen. This includes being relevant to our culture.
If you ever been to or heard Pastor Tony Spell preach or sing you'll know he is truly anointed, he comes on Holy Ghost Radio sometimes, you can also hear him and Life Tabernacle on my page.
Awesome! I felt the Holy Ghost all over, every time I listen to this song I do. Read some comments about this saying it's hype and not real, just basically a fast beat, some say we still have 1900's music that's where it's at, they say now days music is just hype not so, now I'm not for so called rap, hip hop, rock, and so in that is of the world, but let me tell you something, the Bible says in, Psalms 96:1, " O Sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord all the Earth. O, I'm gonna jump
Eh, thanks! It's going awesome! So far we've had our Crusade... 25 were filled with the Holy Ghost and 25 were baptized in Jesus' name! Our first night, as soon as the Holy Spirit fell, the power to the whole city went out! We all had to use our cellphones as flashlights, and we know there were 13 who received the HS that night, while there could be more. We had packed out services that weekend, and there's many new faces at our church!
If you think being "charismatic" is a good thing, then you have demonstrated my point perfectly. I don't want any songs sung in my church that have God veiled in any way, and this song doesn't have to do with God in any way. It's like saying "come to church where you can feel happy and free". If that's the reason anyone comes to church, then they've missed the point entirely.
I have no clue why, but I am not offended. Jesus said His people will be hated among all nations for His name's sake. I was offended at first, but that is what Satan wanted. I now accept the persecution, because the prophets of the OT faced it, Jesus faced it, and many that followed after Him. I will not be ashamed to say that I believe Jesus is God, and when I received His Spirit, I spoke in tongues. Through my trials and tribulations will I not cease to dance before the Lord. God bless!
@melissalovesjami Whenever I hear people talk about changing the methods, not the message, it invariably means they want to do away with certain aspects of separation from the world. Like it or not, that IS part of the "message". The end result is an entertainment showbiz type of worship with performance and hype replacing old time anointing, as we see in this video.
To mitigate the constant debates (that is not so constructive or edifying), just disable comments for this video...purpose of posting it was to share it...right
@jdjakegeorge ok let me ask one question for you what is holy music???/ if you can prove to me what holy music is then i will consider what u said reasonable because for me it matters less on what the beat style or whatever because when u start to say that u interfere with cultural backgrounds of different countries on how they worship God for me the important thing is to exalt my God and give him praise i really dont understand why ppl make such big deal out of this GBy
@sensibleadult Can I ask you exactly what it is about this song/video that is so offensive to you? The beat of the music? The people dancing, clapping their hands, what? I understand your point about the people in leadership and using discernment when choosing the music we sing during praise and worship, however, not everyone in the service are spiritually mature people. I believe that just as Paul said, we need to become all things to all people so that we may win some. Cont...
I know people that say it's not about the beat, but it's about the lyrics, some of them are in my family, so I know how that is. Now, in the video maybe they could've got more into worship, but who am I to judge, it's a great song though.
actually i have seen plenty else. and you can't determine whether something is annointed or flesh driven based on the style of music. annointing doesn't come from the style of music it comes from a prayerful, dedicated walk with god. a few comments ago you made the statement that this song is nothing but hype. you can have a bunch of people singing i'll fly away or the blood or the old rugged cross or any other good old hymn and they can do it off of hype.. song type doesnt determine annointing.
Not in any way being compromisable, I can't stand compromise. Just saying view all the points. Great vid in TH-cam, A Call To Anguish, by David Wilkerson, if you get a chance please listen to it.
Please do not feel obligated to respond to zapthycat's comments. If you will take a quick glance at his youtube account, you will see he is only instigating righteous indignation in true Christians. His channel and favorites are filled with terrible videos, so his derogatory comments have no credibility. God bless all of you who share that "Freedom" with me....Freedom in the Holy Ghost is truly the most amazing experience on the planet!!
@OldLineHoliness What a great comment! Thank you for taking a stand against this repulsive style of music that has invaded the church. Fleshly and sensual describe it exactly. It is the music of a generation that is raised on entertainment and amusement. They have to have fleshly gratification-or they get bored. This music exists solely on hype and volume-otherwise it has no reason to be. The lights are to simulate a feeling of anointing, but all it does is assault the senses.
@melissalovesjami Neither of the examples you gave were people consciously imitating pop culture.I stand by my comments 100%. I have a book on trends in music which quotes Rev. Howard Goss, the first UPC superintendent. In response to the worldly trends in music in his day, he said, "Pentecost is not ready for the coming of the Lord." Would you also tell him to "lighten up"?
So funny to me that the way people are always trying to bash Pentecostal Worship; so with the train of thought of most of the bitter folks commenting anything that has emotion is "wrong" or "garbage" well guess what words are just that WORDS and WORSHIP is made to be active! Get past your Bias Judgement and Praise with all you got THAT IS THE ONLY THING WORTH TALKING ABOUT!!!
ha okay dude.. i happen to be a holy ghost filled pentecostal... i absolutely know the world i'm in. i have things to do that are more important than texting and video games.. such as praying for judgemental people like yourself.. i'm sick and tired of people acting like the younger generation is just a bunch of hype without annointing... maybe you need a breakthrough and a visit to my church. praying for you. :)
oh okay, because singing about freedom is pop.... right. you my friend do need prayer, and no, it isnt flesh driven.. and i know that pentecost didnt start the day i was born.. it started in acts 2:38... and what's wrong with getting excited about freedom?? i do agree that many churches now are all hype, indiana bible college however is not...
Here's a thought, if the Christians of the 1800's were all still alive, if it was about generational music, what would they think, it's not about the beat, the beat shouldn't be wild and conforming to the world. We are to sing a new song unto the Lord though and not always have the same old music sung over and over again.
well we sing this song at my church.. and i was changing my opinion about you.. but if singing about having freedom and being free to run and free to dance and live for him, makes you want to vomit, then you my friend really do need prayer..
@melissalovesjami This is NOT genuine Pentecostal praise and worship. You may think so because it's all you've ever seen. This is a synthetic, flesh driven, pop culture inspired, counterfeit version of the real thing. The majority of people fooled by this have had their sensitivity and discernment dulled by TV, movies, and worldly entertainment. They consequently cannot tell the difference between hype and Holy Ghost anointing.
@sensibleadult It is clear to me that your sole objective in this debate is division. Rather than answer my questions, you are only interested in attaching stigmas to me and my style of praise & worship that you have read about. Why don't you try laying down your books & your 'holier-than-thou' attitude & consider what the Word of God says in Proverbs 6 about a person who stirs up conflict. I have used the Bible to back up my arguments, you have given your opinions. I have nothing else to say.
I wish people wouldnt argue back and forth on gospel videos on utube. Thats what makes me sick. The world is whatching you guys do this and thinking I dont need that! Thats a shame. So many good anointed vids on here that God can use is hindered in the comments. Gods people should not be at each other so much. If you are blood washed then you are a bro.
Dude, what are you taking about? Did you even read what I said? The song is awesome. We are gonna learn it even. What is shameful is christian people arguing and insuting one another in the comments section Right where the world can see it. Not too much of a witness. Good anointed vides are ruined on utube cause on every one someone is arguing about the Godhead or baptism or something in the comments. That is shameful.
@melissalovesjami We are sick of worldly TV and movie engrossed music directors determining the direction of our music. This is not something I merely read in a book, as you erroneously stated, but it is something I have seen creep up on the church for many years. I graduated from a UPC Bible college(JCM) and the seeds of this were being sown even then. I refuse to see my church turned into a hip-hop club and me not say anything about it. Say what you might, there are some of us out here
@melissalovesjami So you're saying we become immature to reach the immature, hip-hoppers to reach the hip-hoppers, rock and rollers to reach that crowd. Basically we just give people a "Christian" version of whatever it is they're doing, and call it "reaching" them. Is that about it? To me that cheapens the gospel. Whenever someone uses the term "relevant", warning lights start flashing in my mind. That's code for 'liberal" and "progressive", and it is destroying the church.
@maltliickey i don't think you got the context of what I was saying; I am just so tired of all this constant blasting of how modern worship is, I have to say it. We are not going to see the church of the 1900's again, you have got to understand that a new generation will always bring upon change, no offense meant, just trying to be real.
@sensibleadult I can't help but laugh at you. Can you see through to the hearts of every human being in this service? No, of course not. The Bible says that David danced before the Lord so much that his clothes fell off! Hannah prayed and Eli mistook her for being drunk! Who are you to say what genuine praise and worship is? That is for Almighty God to decide! He is the only One who can see through to the intentions of a man's heart. (Rev. 2:23) Lighten up, why don't ya?
you just completely contradicted yourself, if you can't tell whether it's annointed based on the music, then you CAN'T tell whether it's flesh driven either. and i understand that i wasn't around during brush arbor days and such, but i have been around pentecost plenty to other churches and i know that there's some that have an old time religion and i know there are some that have nowhere near it.
@melissalovesjami I am sorry, you are as wrong as you can be about my motivesYou have pooh-poohed every point I have made. Your basic argument is Nuh-uh! I have studied, played and taught music for over 35 yrs, probably longer than you've lived. My views are in harmony with Rev. Howard Goss, the 1st superintendent of the UPC, and many of the other Pentecostal pioneers who felt the same way. The Bible does not back up using worldly pop culture music in church, in fact it condemns it .
Quit arguing people! Bringing reproach on the name of Jesus the whole bunch of ya!!! Dont you know the world sees that and thinks there is nothing to this. I am so tired of looking at a great video that God can anoint and use and his people are at the bottom aruing about something stupid and ruining it. Division is of the enemy. Shameful!!
@jdjakegeorge Well for me its not about the style and can careless what style its played on for me the important thing is to worship God well i agree to the point where if sumone were to change the beat of a wordly song to a christian song then i wouldnt listen to it
i personally don't care for heavy metal/deathcore music, if they wanna do that, that's on them, not me.. and this is nowhere near heavy metal.. comparing this and heavy metal is like comparing fire to ice..
people speak as if all worship or praise to god is quiet and calm stop fooling your selves king David danced is clothes off to loud and joyful gospel music psalm 100 make a joyful noise unto the Lord Ezra chap3 verse ten and in many other parts of the bible people used cymbals and made noise that is joyful sometimes when praising God If God wanted only quiet he would not created variety
To say that you don't like this song is the same as to say that anything that is an effect of the love and freeing power of God is not worth your time. It DOES NOT have to have jesus or god in it to show intent. your opinion is your opinion but to discredit a song simply because it doesnt fit your particular taste is poor for even what i suspect to be a hipicritical out dated persona
Not in here to argue. Each one of use have our own walk with God, no I'm not a compromisable Christian, I can't stand how today's so called Christians act and I can't stand the kind of music the listen to and how they are trying to make church entertainment, appealing only to flesh, it shouldn't be about fleshy desires it should be about worship to God.
@melissalovesjami willing to stand up and say the emperor isn't wearing any clothes. I stand by everything I have said 110%. This new music is nauseating. If I had a stronger word I would use it. You need to realize the world didn't begin the day you were born, nor did the church. There is a spirit behind this garbage that is insidious, regardless of your protests to the contrary. I have seen too much evidence to deny it.
@melissalovesjami We may come to God as children, but there's a time to put away childish things. The adults need to take back over the music.. No respectable family lets the children determine the direction of the family. Children would choose entertainment over going to school, ice cream over nutrition, and living in a pigsty rather than cleaning up their rooms. That's what's happening in the churches; immature people are choosing music that appeals to their immaturity.
this is my praise/worshipping music!!! i love IBC!! God bless them!! I WANNA JUMP HIGHER, PRAISE HIGHER, LOVE HARDER, AND SING HIGHER FOR JESUS!!
This song is awesome, so anointed. I'm gonna dance wilder than before in gonna praise his name louder than before I'm gonna jump higher than before in gonna spin I'm gonna run faster than before, freedom I'm talking about freedom. ha okay dude.. i happen to be a holy ghost filled pentecostal... i absolutely know the world i'm in. i have things to do that are more important than texting and video games.. such as praying for judgemental people like yourself.. i'm sick and tired of people acting like the younger generation is just a bunch of hype without annointing... maybe you need a breakthrough and a visit to my church.
praying for you. :)
oh okay, because singing about freedom is pop.... right. you my friend do need prayer, and no, it isnt flesh driven.. and i know that pentecost didnt start the day i was born.. it started in acts 2:38... and what's wrong with getting excited about freedom?? i do agree that many churches now are all hype, indiana bible college however is not...
Here's a thought, if the Christians of the 1800's were all still alive, if it was about generational music, what would they think, it's not about the beat, the beat shouldn't be wild and conforming to the world. We are to sing a new song unto the Lord though and not always have the same old music sung over and over again.
okay dude...
well we sing this song at my church.. and i was changing my opinion about you.. but if singing about having freedom and being free to run and free to dance and live for him, makes you want to vomit, then you my friend really do need prayer..
Hallelujah aint in the bible alleluia is but that means praise yah not Jesus wake up!!!!!! Im JESUS ONLY
people get confused because they're carnal, and i have an education
@jdjakegeorge I dont see it like that
@melissalovesjami This is NOT genuine Pentecostal praise and worship.
That is shameful.
that was really rude have you ever been in the spirit it is the greatest feeling ever so don't judge God is the only one that can judge
Billy find me facebook do you have a facebook
I knew IBC was headed in a charismatic direction, but I didn't know it was getting this bad. There's nothing about God whatsoever in this song!
I got 2 thumbs down... Didn't think I said anything wrong.... :(
i agree with that, but i don't believe this song causes any confusion..
i never thought i would say this about IBC...but my church sings this better.
Shameful!!
@jdjakegeorge Well for me its not about the style and can careless what style its played on for me the important thing is to worship God well i agree to the point where if sumone were to change the beat of a wordly song to a christian song then i wouldnt listen to it
i personally don't care for heavy metal/deathcore music, if they wanna do that, that's on them, not me.. and this is nowhere near heavy metal.. comparing this and heavy metal is like comparing fire to ice..
then stop coming to the video and quit watching this "charismatic filth" if that's what it really is to you. God bless.
people speak as if all worship or praise to god is quiet and calm stop fooling your selves king David danced is clothes off to loud and joyful gospel music psalm 100 make a joyful noise unto the Lord Ezra chap3 verse ten and in many other parts of the bible people used cymbals and made noise that is joyful sometimes when praising God If God wanted only quiet he would not created variety
Each one of use have our own walk with God, no I'm not a compromisable Christian, I can't stand how today's so called Christians act and I can't stand the kind of music the listen to and how they are trying to make church entertainment, appealing only to flesh, it shouldn't be about fleshy desires it should be about worship to God.
this isn't hype smart one...
By but it have a bible that was made befor 1611 no jah or yah it the greek lxx
That's what's happening in the churches; immature people are choosing music that appeals to their immaturity.
i love this song but i think my church does it better.lol
