I like how it has a “inches gauge” on the side. Although Canada adopted the metric system when I was a kid, I still prefer inches rather than centimetres. I feel that centimetres are just too small to care about in regards to soil, but would be great to describe thicknesses of coins and other small increments. Looks like this pinpointer would take a lot of abuse. And that is awesome! The light is a bonus! I love that! This is a very much improved model than the one that I have from Technetics. This really looks like a good tool for your arsenal of metal detecting tools! I look forward to see how it works! 👏🏻😃. Well done Fisher! Well done Deej!
Just got mine today. Found what I had lost quickly...and several other things! Works great. Was careful to prep it by turning it on while touching the ground. This is important. Funny- I am a total newb. It was alerting like crazy- realized, I was holding my metal digger next to it (same hand!) Easy fix.
@@DigginWithDeej Thanks. Where are some cool places I can start to use this thing- like common areas? I have no idea. Amazing tool though- was picking up buried treasures- screws, metal plates, old rusty scissors and more. It helps you to see into another hidden world.
@@MOAB-UT it's generally used to pinpoint targets your detector finds. In parks around bbq's is a good place to find coins or by horseshoe pits or kids tot lots. Make sure metal detecting is allowed first.
@@DigginWithDeej Thanks. Heading to the beach soon and was dissapointed to learn it's a big no no...not even in the water as it is a national park. I get it though. If 10 people were sitting there beeping and digging and making a mess...
Good video thank you, looking forward to the next one with the modes to avoid interference. Was hoping you werer going to present this video/info last night at the meeting. :-)
Thanks for the info! I picked up one of these from the pawn shop today. Doesnt look like its even been used, I did the test to see if it was 1st gen and it isnt. Not sure if its new and improved, but not 1st gen for sure. One word describes this pin pointer. AMAZING! I have used the carrot, minelab pros, cheap-o-amazon ones, and this thing BLOWS them ALL out of the water. Depth, ergonomics, weight, feel, battery life, options, BEATS EM ALL! Its easily twice the depth of the nearest competitor. I am seriously considering buying a Fisher metal detector now, if the pin pointer is any indication as to the company's line up. I like it.
Looks like a really good pinpointer. I like the AA batteries. they do not cost that much. 9volts cost a lot. Might look into getting this one when it is time for me to buy a new one.. thanks for sharing..
It is way more user friendly then my old one, you used to have to be lightening fast to program or it would time out on old one. They took out unnecessary light adjustments and you can take your time programming as well now.
I bought the TEK-Point (green) years ago, which I think was the same thing as the F-Pulse (not the new and improved one)? It is a pretty good pinpointer, and it may become my goto one once the White's TRX one I have dies (no longer produced).
Hi Deej, as far as I’m concerned Fisher makes the best detecting equipment then anyone else, I’ll still stick my neck out and say the fisher F75 is the best detector, so I’m comfortable that this pinpointer would be as equally as good 👍

Very good unboxing and information. Best of luck using it.
More info and using in the field to come
Great video ! I have been waiting to see this. Thanks for sharing this Deej !
Thank you
Great info on the pin pointer, my son has been running Fisher equipment for years.
Cool Cy. More information to come in field test.

No worries Ed. Thanks for watching the replay
Hi Deej, nice job. I have the Garrett and never been really thrilled with it. Might have to try this one.
I like it. The new ,& improved is much more user friendly

Oh great, just my luck...a pinpointer as complicated as a metal detector😂 Nice waterproof pinpointer you have yourself Deej💯 A great review👍😃
It's not complicated Lisa
@@DigginWithDeej How did I know you were going to say that☺️👍🤗
Nice 👍.
Thank you David

Thank you Budd Files
You can also change the frequency so it doesn't interfere with the detector.
Looking forward to seeing you use Fisher F-pulse Pinpointer!
That is for the next video showing it in the field. There are 16 frequency shifts.

@@DigginWithDeej Thanks Deej, I have a new Fisher F-Pulse. I've not used it yet. So your review will be of great interest to me. Tks!
Great video
Thank you so much for watching
@@DigginWithDeej that thing is so cool and your welcome
always loved the f75 hope this one does well!! cant wait to see it in action
I will take the F-44 on it's maiden voyage when I return next week from Come Out Swingin. But using F-Pulse & T2 Plus at C.O.S.

Thanks Jim. I will have a video coming up using it in the field and showing how to change frequencies with the 16 frequency shift.
Like that deej
Thank you Tezza for watching
What exactly is new and improved about this version? It seems identical to my Tek-point.
Great video btw!
I will have another video coming
There have been some minor tweaks to prevent falsing
Whats new and improved? Doesnt go into melt down randomly?
It is much easier to program. The program menu list is shorter. My old one is still working fine and waterproof. Not sure what you are referring to?
