Let's not underestimate the experience it takes to get those tones. There's a lot more to ambient guitar than just buying some stomp boxes and playing, as I am discovering. Thanks for these tips - as always, you inspire this wannabe ambient guitarist.
You should do a part two for chord inversions. I found that the less movement on the fretboard makes for better flow. The movement from Dmin to G higher up the neck does not always feel relaxing. Thank you for the video, excellent content as always!
