Canonically, the dong piece is there so it can basically squat down and use it like a seat. But it does use the same hands as the Dijeh, so you can use the open hand that comes with that
Again, your review was the tipping point for me getting this kit. I have the MG Nemo Unicorn Version (not the Desert Version, the regular one), so I will probably be able to make use of the 170 mm cannon. It sucks how hard the Desert Version is to acquire. But really, between this kit, the Nemo Unicorn Ver, GM II Unicorn Ver, and GM Semi-Striker coming out, I will have a TON of Torrington Base units. Hopefully they give us a MG GM III in the future, because I REALLY want that one, especially for the scene where is stabs the Juaggu with the Beam Javelin!
Kinda ironic that people are giving this kit shit cause it's a wierd design or "ugly" when that's kind of the point of the whole RE/100 line lol, it's entirely made up of unpopular/niche designs.
I guess the arm seamlines could be used as panel lines? Still surprising to see them on a RE100 kit, like you said. I love the head design though. Always nice to see details behind the visor. And that knee bend is really nice; the soft rubber reminds me of the Hamma Hamma.
I don’t think it’s that bad looking, but of all the gun cannons or gun cannon esc suits, I think they chose wrong, why not a 1/100 guncannon mass production or the really cool looking f71 g-cannon or the gundam Murdock

I wonder if/when designs from Turn A, X, and Victory will be added to the RE 100 line. I feel like those series have the least number of modern model kits compared to other Gundam series.

Although I liked the chrome-gold plated one on the old 1/100 one, maybe the kind of gold we got with the 2.0 Hyaku Shiki wouldn't look too bad... and for the love of god pls no injected moulded gold
Vector Sigma II Well, knowing Bandai they never produce 'to scale' mobile armour. Only one we have is the HG Psyco Gundam, so chances are if they do make it into a kit, it'll most likely be a high grade
I like the body, the head and the weaponry but....maybe what make it weird is the arm and legs. For me, its looks...comical, its like megaman design : small& slender upper arm/ legs and bulbous lower arm/legs. Yes, some grunt suits especially zeon usualy has big legs but the design and proprtion is more...technical.
You know, I have been waiting for a HGUC ver of this kit for LOOOONG time and they decided to give it a RE treatment. I'm kinda disappointing about this kit because the proportion on this kit are all screwed up....compared to the Katoki's lineart it just doesn't look as good.......
One of the kits i really wanna get, i love guncannon detector cause its actually very unique cause its build on the frame of the methuss (of all suits) A reason ive been practicing some plamo stuff cause i wanna make it look good and sturdy tho making it sturdy with just top coating the joints would work easily i think
Just add a bit of super glue to the joint you want to tighten then use a toothpick to spread it around. After it dries out the joint back together and the joint will be tight. Just make sure you only use a tiny bit of gluev
I'm okay with most of the aesthetics. I don't like the feet, or how tiny the arms are compared to the forearms and the rest of the kit. I love the guns and how well armored most of it looks. I, however, despise the third leg. The kit could really do without that both as a gimmick, and as joke bait.
Remember when he said there isn't a garbage kit and defended the Tristan and then said it was garbage and the didn't like it? I do. Zach is a looks guy he's said so in the past I think, so it's not crazy the problems this model has don't mean much when he likes it's gimdick I mean I gimmick and looks.
A lot of those people gave objective reviews for this. Just cause this thread like to suck this youtubers opinion doesn't invalidate other negative reviews. :/
People just tend to like Exias too much in my opinion. And everything that falls far from an Exia gets minus points for the most out there. Especially since the new PG. You can literally grade a kit by how many Exia points it gets deduced for how far they're from an Exia design. It happened before, with the Strike and the rest of the SEED kits that came out a few years back. Everything that came out that didn't look like a SEED kit back then got minus points. To me, the odder it looks, the better.
When i saw this in unicorn i was like this is one tanky boy i mean literally he took a explosion ti the face gets cut apart still no explosion until it get stabbed in the cockpit

Yeah, when it costs more than some MG's to get what's basically a 1/100 HG, it's not an easy thing to justify unless you love the design.

I think a WaDom kit would be cool, but it’s probably too big to make into a 1/100 scale kit.
