Low income housing started to happen on South Snelling Avenue Neighborhood in the 1970s I believe. I had a friend who lived in the 400 block and his house is long gone.
No way those guys built that house at that time with the supposed technology. Either it was already there and claimed, or the technology during that period is not accurately depicted.
Wow thanks to everyone who has watched this and commented. I just wanted to make a decent documentary for school. Thanks
Excellent ! Very well presented by the participants. The most beautiful residential street in America.
Thank you very much for posting this important history!!
I shared this to my OLD SAINT PAUL HISTORY Group..Great Information
Was fortunate to know someone on Summit Court, more exclusive than Summit Ave perhaps. Home was glorious.

Good stuff, thanks for posting!
There is a monument at the end of summit where it meets the Mississippi river .
The apparent building in the first and last seanes used to be a bar in the basement with the door on the hill across from the street car tunnel

Beautiful homes, too bad they have to pave the street, the brick street was beautiful.. I need to visit St Paul sometime..
I wish they would have shown more houses.
