    The hardest song also on a aerodrum kit! Good job!

    Hi Mick..Thanks for the comment. I think it definitely helps to have some previous kit drumming experience as far as Aerodrums is concerned..Richard on the Aerodrums website has a good video explaining the hand technique..which is what I would describe as like a 'reverse rebound', using the palm of your hand to provide the 'bounce'...Its a similar feeling to practicing with brushes so I've found it to be relevant as far as a real kit is concerned...the other advantage is the quietness 😃..

      +Dtxdrummer hey, thanks the video and nice drumming!
      I am a seasoned self taught guitarist, and i have a good natural perception of beats and notes. I am always tapping my fingers etc. I am thinking of purchasing aerodrums with the intention to learn how to play drums for the first time.
      would you advise this or do you think it may encourage bad habits that will stop me from playing acoustic drums as smoothly in the future?

      +Boston Stump hi there...thanks for the comment. I think Aerodrums is a good way to start especially considering price and/or noise issues as well. I think a good overall technique transfers well to Aerodrums...obviously everyone's different but a few basic principles are the same. Richard has an excellent video on this site demonstrating a good technique for getting the best out of Aerodrums, which also will transfer well to a regular kit. I think a fairly loose relaxed grip with not too much arm/tension is a great way to approach things. Cheers and good luck!

      Aerodrummer Do you still play them or was it just a review? I’m going to use them for recording. My neighbors hate me already, then to add real drums..... 😂

      Uhhhchris? Yes I use them a lot and am still fascinated by the possibilities they offer...they’re great for late-night practice! :-)

    I like this kind of "groove" and the dynamic range you have when playing hi-hat and snare ghost notes. It seems that you have some experience with the real kit. Is it very difficult to move on to the Aerodrums? I'm asking, because I also consider buying Aerodrums.

    I'm just waiting for the version that can be installed on to a Tablet, were it's more portable to play Air Drums on the go!

      @Aerodrummer  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, yes I'd love to see an iPad version...although I'm very pleased that Aerodrums works on my Windows netbook which is still pretty small & portable. It cost £150 new as well! :-)

      @gadget183 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dtxdrummer I definitely hear that, and I've also got a Netbook myself costing the same, but I personally would like to be playing Drums like down outside, for instance; in a Park but the 'Aerodrums' set up is just based for indoors only which is a shame, hopefully we'll see some portability maybe next Version!

    Awesome cool..! -I get my Aerodrums today, but the camera wasn't supplied (bummer!) so it'll come later on... I am not a drummer, but I will use it to supply my home recording studio to use it via DAW on Windows (Cubase 8 & Addictive Drums)... Hope it'll work out fine. - tnx again for this nice video Dtxdrummer! (Y)

    Do you feel like your ghost notes were included? What about double stroke rolls? Cymbal rolls? Good dynamics, or can it not tell how hard you're "hitting?"

    • @Aerodrummer
      @Aerodrummer  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi William...Aerodrums are amazingly responsive and pick up all ghost notes. I was playing at the same velocity level as if I was playing a regular acoustic kit. Cymbal swells and chokes are possible and work very well..double strokes are harder to pull out but very possible, using the palm of your hand as the drum head in a 'reverse bounce' manner...it's all good practice In my opinion and totally relevant to transferring technique onto an acoustic kit...cheers!
