- Good morning, friends! Join me as I open up our cozy farm stand, a morning routine that has become a cherished part of my day. Each morning, I set up the sidewalls, arrange beautiful hosta plants, sweet potato vines, and willow tree starts, and ensure our lovely flowers are well-watered and fresh. I also restock our popular items like honey, homemade jams and jellies, medium rare chocolate chip cookies, and our new Berry Bliss tea blend. Every day, I bake something special in small batches, like today’s blueberry coffee cake, which adds a delicious touch to our offerings. After retiring from a corporate career, I’ve found immense joy in creating and sharing these seasonal, handmade products. It’s all about doing what I love and embracing the simple pleasures. Even though the earnings might be modest, the happiness it brings to me and my customers is priceless.

Hi,I am going to my local Amish store today,and the vegetable stand. I'm so excited. Some pasta and soup bases. Maybe a vegetable soup or shut up and eat it.!! I don't know what they have ready. Wisconsin weather has finally changed,no rain,humility,thank goodness,no air conditioning!!😃 I watched someone make whipped honey!

So fun! All I have in my farm stand is eggs...🤷 But it definitely fills a need and I feel like locals r seeing the difference between farm fresh pasture raised eggs and I sell more and more each week. I love the process!

We would use Willow branches to help support and strengthen the banks of the river that ran through our farm . We had approx 1 km of river that ran through , my dad figured that over the years the river eroded 1-2 acres .

As I watch this a Want list pops into my head. Simple clip board with pen. Put all the wants into a cup and draw one out. Every other day ..every day if you want. That gives you ideas of what will help keep customers coming back.
My daughter gave me some loose leaf tea for Mother’s Day and I have been infusing it overnight in the fridge and drinking it cold. My favorite is the “blueberry jam” flavor. So good!

Yes! I’ve been canning tart cherry pie filling and freezing tart cherries, I have a who,e tree full to deal with! The apricot tree is next and it’s loaded too.

I know how hard it is to retire. I was at my job 49 1/2 years! I wanted to reach 50, but my knee gave out and need a knee replacement. By the time I could go back I said, it's time to retire. Being happy is what it's all about. I love getting flowers from farm stands. You know they love them and it makes me happy seeing all the beautiful colors, and love that they put into what they do in their gardens. I love your farm stand! I’m in Virginia and one of my friends has a farm stand. One of her best sellers is a carrot cake sandwich cookie. I had never heard of them before she started putting them out there but oh my! 😊
We picked 47 pounds of blueberries yesterday so I need to start making all things blueberry. Love seasonal eating and preserving. Last year I really learned that I love to just make the pies and then freeze them instead of the pie filling so def some pies. Peaches aren't quite ready.

I do wish I was close by. I'd definitely stop by and pick up some tea, cookies, syrup, and honey...at least. Your community is so very lucky to have you as a resource.
You could also put your jams, your jelly, your sauces all that and some of the local gas stations. I was at a gas station. I saw Local honey and I thought that was amazing.
If you are ever in a place where you can sell your tea by mail, I would love to buy some!! It sounds wonderful and I really would love to order a package!! Please let us know if this is ever a possibility!!
