  • A session of questions and answers with monastic Dharma teachers Sr. Huong Nghiem, Br. Phap Dung, Br. Phap Luu, and Sr. Phu Nghiem
14:10 How can we work with, in our practice, racial bias and cultural insensitivity
28:57 Regarding the goals of the practice. What are the goals of the practice? Do I need to change my needs in life to be happier? Then there is the other end of the spectrum. How to practice? What exactly to relate to ones own needs for the purpose of alleviating suffering?
37:13 How can I let go of attachment to worldly love?
52:08 Thay says that anxiety means not being able to dwell in the present moment. But there are times when it is very difficult. In this kind of situation, what other suggestions do you have for coming back to the present moment?
1:05:30 Moments of suffering that take over and have a combustable quality. What advice do you have for a person experiencing this? Or someone who is helping that person?
1:12:10 What would someone who is wise and someone who has great intellect say to each other? What if they became the same person, what should they do in this world?

I love Phap Dung's imagery of notions as flies in my head and opening windows of understanding to let the flies out :)

I really appreciate the answer to the first question although Br. Phap Dung didn't go far in answering the second part of the question which was about how the Community is addressing the issues of discrimination as an institution. I would like to know more about this.
