3:48 - 1386% hp left...damn xD
The problem is that all enemies focus the converted unit at the same time instead of focusing priests, thats why they lose.
that is fair. Idea is , i will fight with someone who is trying to kill me (attacking unit) than saving myself from getting converted because I will eventually live.
15 monks for 15 karambits with 15 karambits left over.
STONKS!
And there really should have been 30 karambits in there as you only cost ½ a pop each
@@GummieI Lol, there were 30 in the video. Thats the whole reason they won.
@@hackbertgrutzkotz7653 yep, sometimes numbers win battles.

-This video is awesome, i dint spect the priest won a lot of time he did it!
I am having SO MANY BAD FLASHBACKS of playing Age of Empires 1! T_T
Range on the Longbowmen gave them the edge there-they almost had it.
The reason that monks didn't convert missionaries is monks civilization is set to Indians and Indians can't upgrade atonement. So those monks are just sitting ducks on missionaries' conversion.
And I think this experiment should be retested with civilization which all upgrades of monastery is available.
it would be cool if somehow you could set your own players AI preference to ignore converted units and stick to the task you last gave them (attack move to monks for example)
*Priest manages to convert a unit
There is an impostor among us
Great never thought Monks were that good
We have underestimated the Karambit
enemy:i will kill u,priest:wololoooo
You may not like it, but this is what perfect micro looks like
There is the where karambit is shining
So Priest is a Building
That make sense Mike ;)
one of the few fights were karambit are extremely effective
karambits are good everytime u neeed some unit to do something but you dont really care what happens next :D
*Gold Medal:* Missionary (Priests can't target them?)
*Silver Medal:* Karambit Warrior
*Bronze Medal:* Longbowman
Fun Fact: In equal numbers, monk always win and steal your army.
The civ of monks doesn't have atonement tech so they were sitting ducks vs missioneries. They should redo it with aztex monks
@@littlejibari the outcome would be even more one-sided of a battle that monks win 99% of the time, what's the point
damnnnn the elephants fell for them too
No! You cant just use religion to convert people..
*Priest goes wololo!*
damn, some ear plugs would've helped. was faith included for those civs that have access to it?
Karambits op confirmed?
@@krystofcisar469 which is what you end up having every single game anyway.
Who would win?
An entire army of the civilization’s strongest troops

no one can resist the wololo~
Just here for the nostalgia. Found a soundbite of these priests in another video and it send me scouting the internet for the name of this game😅
Those Teutonic knights failed their faith
Everyone gangsta until the old man converts animals to christianity
the problem is the unit converted start to attack the units and the units unconverted start to attack the converted, i would micro the monk and kill them all
viking raiders losing to monks is not historically accurate
it kinda is.. but in weird way :D Scandinavia was chriastianized and svedish king didnt really asked his subordinates nicely to convert in christianity :D in fact quite opposite, they would prison and torture people until they accept true faith ! :D
3:48 - How was there 91% of the enemy's HP left?
Please do one with equal ressources spent
nobody expected spanish inquisition that day :D
If anything this video proves the AI is stupid in a monk rush situation. If you take the example of the war elephants, sure they convert the first one but the problem is that the herd stops moving towards the monks and they attack the blue elephant. Having continue to charge the monks, they would have obliterate them and losing mayber 3 or 4 units top. That would be interesting to know if there is something to fix that, a script, a difficulty level, a patch, etc.
But does it happen against all difficulty levels of AI including Expert?
Huh? What civ has priests? That's from aoe 1.
KARAMBITS WON SOMETHING!
Enemys killed? Hm you dont actualy kill every one of them. You need a Enemy killed and a enemy converted section
They cut off one head, two more will take its place
WOLOLO AYOYOYO
AoE1 Priests vs Poles Winged Hussars please :)
I've never seen 1382% Hp left before
I love the conclusion
They never get to more than 4 priest before colapsing
All wololo needs is one, after that it snowballs
In aoe 1st edition rise of rome if u select 2 priest to convert one unit...the unit freezes..lol...i have used that trick to convert so many chariots!!
The enemy always stole my car 😂 fucking priest
Only reason karambits won is superior numbers, the monks traded 1-1 with everything else
Priest only spray paint on enemies so they become allies .
What is this unit?!
The knights were not very devout
#Respect
Wait... missionaries? I don't remember them
Why can’t they convert missionaries ?
@@MikeEmpires I think 10 monks Aztecs can convert a missionary Spanish
@Solo Leung It's been a long time since I've seen an _Enterprise_ reference.
elite karambit warrior atheist
ah yes, the iconic hoyohoyo
You did manually the micromanagment ? Or how this was made posible?
Crappy AI man, if You micro to prioritize priests most encounters would have gone differently
Karambit Warriors won?!?!?!?!
Wololo!
Really only difference here is that monks are micored and other unitsd are potatoed into conversion :D There´s no possible way that monk convert all those mangudai in real scenario :D It just cant happen., they die like flies... And if they covert 3, who really cares... Also odd how those teutonic knights got that qickly converted :D
Do the priests have block printing?
kinda misleading. If you target the monks instead of the 1 unit they just converted, many of these would be ls for the priests
It is because Priests have the Wololo lol :)>
Berber camels got 6 kills not just 4
Muai muai muai 》》》》》《 Wololo
How we can train them ?
but cant stand against light calvary lol

Walalaaaa
Samurai should have a unique tech where they can't be converted. Samurai wouldn't convert like that.
Maybe siege onager
Brutal vs archers lol

WOLOLO
He defeat 99% of Trops!
I Don't incluid Karambit Warrior he roud is cheat have more of 15 enemeys and this is Cheat
If there would be literally any micro involved against these monks, they would lose most of that :D I believe they can convert charging elephnats or kataphracts but no way you can get all longbowmen. You would be lucky to convert 2 if you are micro god :D
It's the bad AI. Once the priests convert one unit, others start attacking that unit instead of killing the priests.
Must be critical theories professors.

Www sólo perdieron 2 veces

Still so imbalanced...
Remember, 15 monks cost 1500 gold. That amount does need to be taken into consideration.
