(Old) WORLD RECORD - THE LONGEST DOMINO LINE

- This is the big 'secret' project I have planned to do for a while. I bought the dominoes originally just for this project. After three days of building, it's finally done. This took me about 18 hours to make and just over 6 minutes to fall down.
The line stopped in the beginning and I thought this was a failure. So I stopped filming and put my camera down. Luckily I had my phone filming the whole thing, because about 3 seconds after I had put my camera down, it mysteriously continued. After the falldown I found the domino that made the line stop. It was really sticky for some reason and that's why it stopped for about 10 seconds. So it's not a fail!
(Even if it was, the remaining dominoes would still be enough to make a new world record.)
The line contained 18,654 dominoes (All of my Domino Express) and that's exactly how many there is. I count them by hand and put them in stacks of 10. I also got to know how many dominoes I have.
The previous record was made by Hevesh5, berlagawesome and ShanesDominoez. I made this myself in just three days and I'm so dead right now. This beats the previous record by 3,130 dominoes.

Ah I haven't seen a video with domino rally/express dominoes in a while... that reminded me of old times and made me smile :) We actually beat the world record domino line at TDT in April this year. I think there were over 20K dominoes used, but Austrian Domino Art hasn't posted it yet. But if it isn't posted did it really happen? hmm xD

I love this very much, it took about 8 minutes to watch your project of hard work and I really enjoyed all of it, I can see really hard work in here :D, the dramatic pause on the domino's falling down I was like nooo but it did fall down :). Failure in something you been doing for so long is just heart breaking.. Every person who does enjoy this and doing this should be amazed because a "normal" person like me haven't the patience with this :D I have tried to line some domino's when I was younger and I did feel the struggle already then, but this is just mind blowing and amazing :). And I'm happy that I found your channel :)

Yay! Did you go through and find any really close to knocking the other line spots? I kind of wanted to do one with mini dominoes after hevesh5's...but now I'd need to get more minis after this to do it.
No. I watched my previous record and found out the lines were really tight and it still (almost) worked. So I wasn't worried by that. And I actually was going to send you a message today about buying some old dominoes you don't need anymore. Because I really need some black and light blue dominoes and painting the dominoes isn't a good idea. What do you think?

Now that's how you film dominoes. You follow the trail, instead of cutting and panning all willy-nilly.
those cutting and panning stuff are usually because the domino lines are segmented, which mean that the dominoes are made separately in different areas, and recorded separately. both methods are equally as impressive though!
