I would never never imagine that anyone can turn IDOL’s crazy vibe into some deeper, sadder vibe, but you successfully fit it in and create such a beautiful and harmonic piece. The last several seconds is even more amazing, and adds a storyline to the mashup(and I am also surprised that you can link BTS’s concept to BAP’s one). Good job!! And hope to see more!!

Lotte Rijss it's actually a technique some music producers use. They build up a song, then strip it off completely and build the song up again. I'm actually amazed by how well this was pulled off. I didn't actually expect such skills from a mashup maker but I'll be damned. I stan this talent already.
Lotte Rijss he even used 808 bass to prepare us for the transition. Just perfect.

Lotte Rijss I chose a part of IDOL that would fit with rest of the mashup; the story begins as "I need you, save me" then the phase of denial "I'm fine, I know what I want." then again "I need you, save me." And ends with Yoongi burning himself. :) It's a mashup ofc the lyrics won't match 100% but I try my best to always combine the lyrics and make them have a connection.

Haha yeah, it just so happened we had a long comment thread on the previous video and somehow I brought up my birthday (since another mashup I am excited for I was told is near ready, so I said 'it feels like a birthday gift!') and so this was dedicated to me. When I was told this smaller mashup would be a belated gift I was speechless!
KokoroHane I'm so glad it didn't disappoint you. I actually had to remake a big part of the audio because I changed my way of mixing to make the songs sound cleaner. :)
It certainly paid off! Worth the wait. The way the clips were edited so seamlessly, and then I find it interesting how it starts out dark, jumps to a (false) positivity, then drops dark again. I did not expect that at all!

Silver moon when I was younger - because now I'm 25, yes x) - I used to listen to K-POP a lot. Non-stop. And I was always getting hyped about the new comebacks. But the last year I didn't feel the same hype. So I began making mashups to make K-POP interesting to me again. And I actually ended up doing it as a hobby. Tbh I listen to mashups more than I listen to the original songs nowadays.
