Well if you listen to the beginning, in 5 years when he is dead and they have the Benny Mardones museum, they will be playing this video. I don't think so.
To the best of my knowledge the Orbison Estate (Roy's Boys) are working thru a programme to release all of Roy's unissued songs and currently they are dealing with one era at a time which currently is the Mgm era - any song that might have been written with Benny would come out in some future project
This is a guy who should have been a household name...if you look at the few live performances from 1980 he was a superstar. I didnt know his name either when I heard he had died recently, though I've loved Into The Night since it came out. I also remember hearing American Bandstand, that's a great rock song. I've been trying to figure out why I didn't know his name after seeing how incredible he was in those clips from '80....now I know. He self-destructed soon after. What a gifted man though.
MOCKUMENTARY! YOU MUST HAVE BEEN SHELTERED! I'M 57 AND RELIVING THE 80'S AND HAVING A DAMNED GOOD TIME! KEEP YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF!!! Don't FUCK IT UP BRO!
@@David-dy6lc whatever dude. I've been a drummer in touring bands since I was 18 and saw a life that people like you only dream of....and I STILL never heard of this guy. Nothing negative was said. Yes, I thought it was a mockumentary...so fucking what? Simply never heard of him. Negative? Hardly. Now go back to your time machine...have a great time in the 80's ...say hello to 'Doc' for me and try not to fuck it up...bro.
Benny was an animal!!!❤ He lived hard, loved hard and rocked hard!!! We miss you!!!❤
Roy Orbison, the soul of Rock and Roll, and probably the sweetest man in show business.
O ohh dear- what might have been. Such talent, but thanks Benny for the great songs. RIP. See you down the road.
RIP, Benny Mardones. It's amazing he lived as long as he did.
Maybe if Parkinsons didn't get him....
Roy knew that Benny had a gift with his Voice! Roy also had the same gift!
So Awesome!
I actually think that Benny Mardones did Roy Orbisons "Running Scared" even better than Roy Orbison. How many can do that? He nailed it! 👍👍
No he did not do better than Roy. He did an outstanding job. But no on being better
@@shebamaree9026 ..............That is a matter of opinion.
Agreed 👍
@@shebamaree9026 no one could do Roy better than Roy
I like the ending :)
