If you really really wanted that law degree you can wait another year to apply girl.Maybe this year the university law class is full so you couldn't get in,you still young so try not to give up so early
I think the problem is that the Koko marks for most of the matriculation students who owns 4 flat also manage to get 9.5 out of 10 for their Koko marks....since the merit is counted 90% for 4 flat and remaining 10% is based on Koko marks ..so many would have 99.5% And since u applied for UM , it is competitive for both medicine , law , dentistry and accounts.....so when u apply time , they already wrote there average merit is about 98 and above I know it sounds crazy, in fact stpm is more challenging, it is not right to put u guys in the same boat, but yeah unfortunately they did like that And Koko marks for stpm student is harder to achieve high points compared to matriks students, bcoz matriks u will stay there and u can do a lot of kokurikulum activities, so they may have higher points due to that The system tapis , the list and arrange according your overall merit As for MUET , band 4 is the minimum, and this one they don't look at it much, as long as u have band 4 and above, u can secure it All this standards will apply for non-bumi, bcoz most of my friends who studied with me in matriks , they also had a merit like 99.0 and above , which is why made them to secure and be called to interview for medicine and law in UM, while those had below that merit , didn't manage to get despite having a 4 flat due to their low Koko marks
@@lucius3752 u must have put in a lot of hard work in order to achieve the 4 flat in stpm...if u would ask me to compare, 4 flat in stpm is three times or more harder to achieve compared to matriculation, yours is as hard as A-level, where almost 90-100% of the grade is paper based... While for matriculation, up to 60% of grade is assignment, 40% is exam..which I think not much of challenge, if paid attention since start, and if u have that 60% in hand , u will only need to answer correctly half of the paper , this is really embarrassing to admit but it is the truth Anyways, I believe, this isn't the only path or end of your dream, there will definitely be a pathway sooner or later 😁
I did STPM too, i got 4.0 and band 4 for muet. Last year i applied upu but i didnt get law, so i applied again this year. I'm currently waiting for the results. My first choice was UM law and second choice was UKM law.
