- Officers respond to a fight call in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and are forced to taser an uncooperative subject who claims he was trying to defend his sister. A family dispute in Las Vegas leads to the arrest of a man who put his hands on his father after the two began throwing rocks and having words over his poor life decisions. Deputies in Travis County, Texas, stop a car for an equipment violation and find a jar of marijuana covered in coffee beans in an attempt to cover the smell.

That's because there are no standards now.
Probably just deployed on street patrol in that area but previously served in another part or jurisdiction of LVMPD. LVMPD oversees all of Clark County and staffs the Clark County Detention Centre.

They could have let the big man go in that first clip -- assuming they verified his story and the extenuating circumstances. Yeah, he swung at an officer, but he had no criminal record, was trying to protect his sister and got caught up in the moment. And he was immediately remorseful (granted, 1,500 volts tends to change your attitude real fast, but still, most perps don't apologize and admit they lost their cool.) I'm as tired of liberal judges, weak sentences and no-bail release as the next guy, but this dude did not have to go to jail for that.

I watched the Austin part several times and I’m willing to bet that he beats the charge. The officer using a blue/green tag light as the reason for the initial stop won’t stand up. With that part being thrown out it will make anything found subsequent illegally obtained. All he needs is a GOOD lawyer, speaking from experience on this one.
Yeah that seemed like a flimsy stop. I guess it would come down to whether it was a vehicle code violation in Texas at that time to have a blue/green tag light (assuming the car in fact had such a tag light).

At the end, more likely that he bought the mason jar full of weed and that SKYWALKER label was put on by the seller and is the name of that strain. Where I live, in Ontario, Canada, weed is legal and a local Indian reserve has about 20 dispensaries and they label the different strains with all these different names. Yesterday, I went downtown, to a government sanctioned dispensary, and bought 3, 1/2 gram pre rolled joints for $10cad. The weed is called The Silverback #4. A Canadian can grow 2 plants per year and a plant can yield 1 pound....

If Marijuana was legalized federally, we wouldn’t have debt. My state alone makes nearly a billion a year through legal marijuana legalization. Not only that, but alcohol consumption and driving has lowered, as well as medical expenses.
