I've been going back and forth with Envato support over this issue. I'm a longtime subscriber to Envato Elements and have a large library of assets I've downloaded (as a subscriber) to "audition" and use as I create new content for my YT show. It seems from what I've read from you, that as long as it's an episodic series with a max of 52 usages a year, I can rely on that single use license for music/SFX, etc. downloaded during my subscription. But Envato support is telling me there is no such thing as a single license for Envato music/stock video, etc. to use for a video series. Support says that to be properly licensed, I need to go to "my downloads" and re-license each asset EVERY time I include them in a new video in my ongoing series. Which would be fine if Envato actually allowed for a title search within the downloads page. But with over 1600 Envato assets over 68 pages, I'm forced to either spend massive time paging through those 68 pages to find each asset and re-license it (sometimes using 30-40 Envato assets in each new video), OR do a regular search for the name of the assets I've used and re-download them to get the new license. Either way, it's a logistical nightmare and will make it virtually impossible to continue churning out content and license assets properly. I want other artists to be paid for sure! But Envato has made it a huge resource drain in terms of time or bandwidth/data downloads. Time to look to another vendor for assets and walk away from my longtime subscription to Envato? Or is Envato support just not understanding my question about using Envato assets downloaded during an Element subscription to be used for an ongoing episodic video series on TH-cam? I'll always follow the rules on licensing, but it seems to me that the time drain to find and re-license assets will be encouraging subscribers to not bother with re-licensing unless TH-cam catches the copyright issue. And that is NOT good for the Envato contributors who deserve to be paid for their work.
Okay, I am starting to consider making another episode that breaks down the differences and best use cases between Elements and Market (like Videohive, AudioJungle, Themeforest, etc). In my video I am talking about Videohive licensing which is NOT the same as Elements. A Videohive (or better: Envato Market) license would allow you to use it for one "product" (f.e. a video) or a "series" of up to 52 videos if these are somewhat connected to each other (like a TH-cam channel). You as Elements subscriber, as you correctly state, can use any of the templates, themes, stock videos etc. whilst being subscribed by adding Licenses to each project. The UI of the User-Dashboard inside the downloads section is indeed abysmally bad, having to page-flip across 1600 elements is a nightmare and needs to be brought to Envatos attention. A simple real-time searchbar or some basic filtering could help making this process super easy, I totally agree. I dont have experience with interfaces of other subscription based market places but my guess is that none of them are really perfect in handling the licensing issue either. It will always be a nuisance to retrieve it from them and then submitting it to TH-cam in case of a copyright-claim. What I will do is, I'll share your comment within the Envato Elements Author forums which is frequented by Envato staff so it hopefully will get some folks moving because I know if a fact that they are betting big on Elements and leaving this part so blatantly unusable may hurt them bad.
@@digitalproducts669 I really appreciate the response. As we are not monetized yet, and I'm trying to add a variety of music/stingers, etc. to each episode, the Elements subscription is very appealing. I'd have to really know that an asset is going to be used frequently to go the Envato Market route at this point. But I REALLY appreciate having some clarification on the differences between the Market and Elements. The forums and Envato help pages are severely lacking in details about the differences between the two. I've had the subscription for longer than I can remember, and I've accumulated a great library, which makes life a LOT easier when auditioning/choosing music for a project. As a career filmmaker, I've always found that a library of assets I've created ahead of time to be far more time effective than going back to Envato and starting from scratch every time there's a new project that's ready for assets like music/SFX/GFX, etc. With my Envato subscription, I've already done the heavy legwork of downloading a library of assets that have the right feel, etc. for my work. And I really want to make sure creators get paid by doing the right thing with the re-licensing. But Envato's user dashboard really does have me rethinking even using my Envato assets going forward. The assets are great. Creators deserve to be paid. I deserve a YT channel that reflects my work as a filmmaker with all the bells and whistles, but doesn't risk copyright strikes (or demonetization) due to unnecessary time consuming site logistics. How this never dawned on Envato when promoting "unlimited downloads" for a monthly subscription, but then left subscribers with a nightmare in re-licensing the assets in their downloads library, I'll never quite understand. And don't get me started on all the non-unique asset names! (I had the misfortune of choosing a great audio clip called "Acoustic Loop" for an episode this week, and then when searching for that asset on Envato to get the license, I spent 30 minutes listening to endless clips called "Acoustic Loop" and STILL haven't found the one I used! So that clip gets yanked and replaced by one that I can actually find/relicense on Envato... and the artist of the original clip that I wanted to use doesn't get paid.) I often wonder why people are so quick to break the rules, while others of us work hard to follow them; but this leads me to wonder less about that. This kind of oversight is sort of paving the way for users to break the rules and instead deal with the consequences when/if they come up. Again, REALLY bad for the Envato creator community. I've passed my thoughts on to Envato support, but got a fairly stock message back along the lines of "we'll take your suggestions into consideration... blah blah blah". Super nice people on their Support team. But we all know how large the chasm is between front line support teams and those who actually make coding/programming decisions for a company as large as Envato. So hopefully hearing from creators like yourself will mean that something gets done on that front fairly quickly. A title search is kind of programming 101 (they already have that functionality when searching for a new asset - sadly, that search only allows for a new download, as re-licensing can ONLY be done on a user's download page). It's not a complicated fix on their part. Sorry for the long response, but my hope is that SOMEONE from Envato sees this and makes a fast dash to the site coding team's offices! Thanks again!
@@henryfarnamiv I totally get that, there is nothing much else to add. I will share this conversation with someone high up there and hopefully he is able to get this pulled out of the mud. Like you said: this negligence is just hurting all parties involved.
@@digitalproducts669 any updates? I’m planning to purchase Envato Elements for music tracks and sound effects to be used in my videos periodically… I do money making talks and educational videos so some great music and sound effects would do great for the overall delivery of my videos… Am I able to download a “sound effects pack” and for example, use those sounds throughout my videos (multiple different videos NOT just for one) under the original license? Or do I have to get a new license for every video I upload to my channel that uses those same sounds/music?
@@FullyMichellethecreative Once you are on a subscription you can download any item available on Elements (but mind the FUP) and all you need to do when downloading them is simply assigning them to a project. How do I register License from Envato elements? I have Facebook on my neck which wants to suspend my business page because I used music from Envato? Please help urgently. I don't know what to do.
Go to "Downloads" and there you'll see a "Add a license" button under each Download button. Add a Project Name and then download the license file which you can send to Facebook to dispute a copyright claim.

Broadcasting is not allowed for Elements items, you'd need a regular or even extended standard license via audiojungle. Read more here: elements.envato.com/license-terms
i have a audiojungle monthly membership. can i use audio tracks in my videos and monetize it? ican i use same audio in more than 1 videos? if yes what is the max limit for 1 audio file. thanks
Do I have to register downloaded After Effects templates every time I use them? I’m reading the Envator Elements “License Terms”, and it says this: "Register items each time you use them Each time you download an item, you get an ongoing license for a single, specified use. Want to use an item again? No problem! Visit your downloads and simply register it again for a different end use." Does it mean I will have to “register” the downloaded AE templates every time I want to use them in my youtube videos? This sounds impractical. Am I missing something out?
Nice video mate. One question I have to ask: I I subscribe to Envato Elements, do I need a license if I am using a video template and music track to create an advert to post on social media? I am advertising to sell a product. Thanks
If you are subscribed then the license for each template or track or picture is right next to the item in the downloads section. This is your proof of ownership, just to make sure that the date of publication is within the subscription period, meaning: if you are unsubscribed, you cannot use any of that anymore.
So with Envato Elements I can download license and use any element (for the video it was licensed for) without any extra charge if I have a subscription to the service?
Yes, exactly. Pretty much do anything you want. But there is a Fair Use Policy that you should check out first: help.elements.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000621743-Fair-Use-Policy

I would like to know if I am a hospital that wants to renew its website, for this it is going to acquire a Wodpress template in ThemeForest, this page is not going to sell anything, it is only going to present information to the public. The management has the doubt of whether the Standard License is acquired, it lasts one month or 12 months. The question is: If this license is worth $76 USD, it means that during the month it is purchased it will receive updates and new plugins and after the end of the license month, it will stop receiving these updates. Or that on the contrary, paying those $76 USD, will you receive updates for life when the page is already built?
So I am new to designing and using AE. My question is about the RTFX generator pack(with like 800 elements) and similar products from Envato or other places. If I purchase the pack(which Im interested in doing), do I need to pay for registering an end product license each time I create one, or does the cost of the pack a one time fee(commercial) cover it, and the registration is just something that needs to be filed? If it is true I can truly only use this pack one time for one end product per purchase, what would be the benefit of buying a pack with 800 elements in them?

So please replay to queries/doubts. That will makes a day for me. Waiting for your replay. Thank you.
1. Yes you can, that's what exactly Elements is there for. 2. As long as these are downloaded from Elements and you registered your video incl. URL with Elements. 3. You can use as many elements from any template in whatever fashion you like, as long as your subscribed to Envato Elements. 4. No or not that I ever heard of as long as you created your work WHILE subscribed. 5. It won't if you played by the rules (point 4).

I'm confused. If I buy a youtube pack with 148 items for example, Can I use all elements only in 52 videos on my youtube channel with a Regular License? After this, I need to buy another Regular License for 52 videos more? Thanks for you comments
You can put out 52 videos with a single regular license, regardless how many of the elements you are using of that pack. So yes: once you reach 52 videos, from 53 onwards you would need a new regular license. For a pack that is 35$ it would cost 0.67$ per video/episode. Not too expensive since it safes you quite some time.
and if you do not publish your project DURING the subscription period, but you instead cancel subscription within 7 days free trial, and publish already downloaded stock videos inside your project after that (after you cancel subscription) on TH-cam? They say "You can cancel at any time, however, you must have an active subscription to use any items you've downloaded." How will they stop me using items that I have already downloaded ?
Videohive belongs to Envato, it’s the Market Place for all video. The licensing terms are mostly the same across all Envato markets like themeforest, audiojungle, etc

Yes, while you are subscribed, i.e. in your first year, you can use any item that Elements has to offer. You can download the license from Elements (a text file) and paste its content into your dispute for the video that got demonetized. After a few hours the video will be freed from the restriction. Have you tried that?
Sir, I have a Question. If I Download any Music from Envato then Can i use that same music as background music in multiple youtube videos if Music's TH-cam Content ID is registered by Some Pubisher ?
Yes, if there is a claim, you can counter it by providing the license which comes with the music you got from Elements. Just make sure you are subscribed to Elements at the time of publication.

Two more things: 1. Yes, a regular license is sufficient if your channel is monetised. 2. No, you cannot redistribute our products (the packs themselves basically) with an extended license.

As long as they aren't sold you are fine with a regular license. You can also acquire an extended license in case your doc is getting sold. But better read the terms, linked in the description to make sure your case is covered correctly.
great video but I need to get a source code for a web app and launch it as an online business and be able to add features to the code myself which one should I go to? and how would the script know if I'm using the script once or many times? comfused
The script itself won't "know" unless the developer built in some online validation. You can alter the code to your liking, best is to contact the developer, state your case and they'll advise you on which license to purchase.

TH-cam may detect a copyright infringement right after uploading. All you then need to do is to dispute it and paste the text from the license file that Envato Elements provides you with into the description and the copyright strike is usually removed within a day.
i have used 1 single background music file to 30 videos in my TH-cam channel. does a "standard license" enough for all those videos? or should i register for each videos?
A regular license covers you for 52 videos if they are all uploaded to the same channel. Or are you using Elements? If you are using Elements, then you should register that song for each individual video.
I understand it a little with youtube but what if I'm a twitch streamer and use one for like a starting soon intro screen, can i use it unlimitedly or am i only allowed to use it 52 times like the youtube episode thing

Ideally you create a new license of an element that is used in that video (or end product) each time you upload a new video, name it “Channelname - Video title”. This ensures that the authors receives some royalties.

I would like to sell them as free for use for video trailers and commercials(openings for yt channels), video games or apps but not for movies for example cause then you need to sell the author rights? So confused....
Envato only has 5 licensing options that every author who sells or a creator who buys a track on Audiojungle is bound to. You cannot set them as free to use for openers using their model, all you can do is just setting the different pricings for each license type, which Envato will help you with by automatically recommending ideal price points once you submit one. If you want to give them away free for certain use cases, you would need to do that via your own website, kinda like what I do with the free TH-camr Pack on dp669.com Hope that helps!

@@gogorekviem You as the author who sells these items only need to set the price for each licensing type. Because, why would they sell the loop packages etc. right? But if you just wanna sell the loop...huh...who would do that? Thank you for the replies and the help
Something you said was incorrect or the least mismeading. Here is what reads on Envato Elements Terms of Service: "Effect of ceasing subscription: As Envato Elements is a subscription service, certain rights granted under an Item license are only applicable for as long as your Envato Elements subscription is active. If you've registered Items for specific projects or end uses, they retain a valid license after your subscription ends. But for trial licenses, free files and everything else, you'll need to remove the Items from any associated product, project or end-use. " So the licence on old projects may stay valid, even if you cancel the subscription. What you cannot do is reusing the items in a new project while not being an Envato subscriber anymore.
Hm, I am not sure if I stated anything to the contrary, I in fact mentioned it here in the comments plenty of times that using previously downloaded items can only be used again if subscribed. Otherwise you wouldn't even get the chance to register it for a new project since that part of the Dashboard simply isnt available anymore.

I still don't understand. If I purchase the Ultimate Graphics Pack - Final Cut Pro X & Apple Motion... does this mean I can only use those titles, transitions, graphics, etc. for one video using a standard license? And that I can only use it for one client?
You are fine with a single license for one project even if that project contains multiple videos. If you do many projects for many clients all the time, the better choice would be an Envato Elements subscription.
Please help i keep downloading logo reveal templates and they are greyed out? Why cant i bring these into my projects :((( im using newest versions of premiere pro

If i have an asset like logo that ive modified and a intro video and i use it on more than 52 streams and public vods do i need the extended license? im currently an envato elements subscriber
Can you use a title sequence from envato elements on a Netflix documentary? in the licence it mentions not to be used for on demand serves but doesn't explain what they mean by that. 😶 thanks
You’d need an extended single license of that item from Envato Market. All Envato Elements items are sold on a license basis there too. Just search for it there and obtain it for your project/Netflix doc and your are good to go.
My client wants to sell furniture products, we looked for e-commerce templates. Which means the items will be sold more than once. Envato wrote back: "I understand you would like to get assistance as to what specific license should you purchase for your project. Please note that Envato practices one license per each customized end product which means you'll need to purchase another license if you're going to use the same item for another end product." It does mean that we should go for "Extended License", right?
Ceren Bettemir The “end product” in your case is your client’s website. Only if you use the same theme for another client / a different website you would need another license.
Regarding the license type: your client is not charging for the use of the website but for the purchase of his furnitures hence a regular license is sufficient.
Hi. Thanks for the video. So in the case of a photographer who'd like to convert thousands of his photos into digital prints, using an add-on/activity/plug-in for photoshop, downloaded from envato, he/she would have to register each individual photo and edit them all while having a subscription? And what if he/she decides to sell one day those prints on a personal website? I assume he/she would have the rights over the End Product, but isn't it uploading the photo and making it available for sale, a new use?
Hi, Nice Presentation, Thanks but I have a question. If I download a WP Plugin, like WZone from Envato Elements, from where I can see the purchase code to use this plugin on my Website. Envato Help sucks. Please help.
Usually you get that from the developer, they either will ask you for your Envato purchase code and then generate it for you or got that automatically sent to you upon purchase. Best is to contact WZone in case you didn’t.
I want to purchase a travel agency website theme on theme forest. I intend to just display my tour packages and not selling them via website. What license do I need? Regular or extended ?
Hey so this is a very direct kind of question. When I post a video on a channel that’s not monetized. And I used a template off envato. Do I have to Wright their name and the author in the description, cause that’s not something I want to do especially if I payed for it?
Ok I am video editing for my girlfriend that is doing nails sort of like a promo on how she does em mainly of Facebook .... She is also selling a nail kit... Which license do I choose based on her selling her nail kit but mainly for her how to do nails tutorial
Good last one if I were to upload the video to Facebook could I then upload it to TH-cam and that count as one of my videos or would I have to buy a separate license for other social platforms?
okay, so if I am a videographer and I use the basic license im limited to using the transitions for a single music video? I am interested in these transitions but not for a "one time use" deal. but im wanting to know if I spent the $35 if I can use those transitions unlimited as long as the music video I am editing with isnt being sold ?
A music video constitutes a part of a product that is being sold, i.e. the track or album or Spotify subscription and thus would require 1 extended license of any item you are using. So that one music video is one "end-product" in your case. Read more here: help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005593363-Do-I-need-a-Regular-License-or-an-Extended-License-
@@digitalproducts669 ahh so $200 to use your transitions for a single music video. Alright. So each music video I sell I need to spend $200 to use these effects. Just so we’re clear ?
A Quick Question mate! I'm Just Starting a TH-cam channel for Science stuff like "How Dinosaur was died?" I found pretty good footages on Envato elements. The Question is! Can i use background music, stock footages and everything i need to create a video from Envato elements and later on it will be montized?
Another question(s) 😀 1. Do you have to reference any part of your License in the TH-cam Video description? 2. What if you are so big people pay to Join your channel, is that in any way an on demand? 3. No use of content in Broadcasting. So TH-cam cannot be deemed as broadcasting ever? Thank you VERY much in advance!!! 😃
Rule of thumb is: if you are subscribed to Elements you are covered for any commercial and non commercial use, regardless of getting paid for it directly or indirectly, or if it is used in context of broadcasting.
@@digitalproducts669 Thank you very much 😃 Plus as you said, if I use the same template in an intro to my videos 52 times I then get another license for another 52 videos after that. I actually asked somebody else about do you need to get a license every time you use a Twitch Stream Template. I mean that would be crazy getting new licenses for every stream, you wouldn't be able to keep track of which license for which day, it would be an immense folder of crazyness 😖
Hello. I pay for 1month and download a t shirt design and print it to my shirt. Is it okay to sell the shirt with the design on it? Even my subscription ends?
If you have clients then 1 project per client would require 1 regular license. So in the case of 5 clients they all need 1 videos which uses any of the items from Envato you would need 5 regular licenses.
I'm a freelancer and create stock based promo videos for my clients. With envato elements the licensing is easy as I can create individual licenses, but what should i do in case of Storyblocks? Is the standard license fine?
@@digitalproducts669 thank you I checked out the video and i liked how they specifically mentioned that freelancers are covered in the standard license Thank you!
Hi Brother, what other platform that you recommend besides Envato to get templates, music and etc???When my channel gets the point to be monetize it would be an issue if I start using the Envato files? Can someone (a youtuber) give me some tips on what to use to have less problems in the future? Thank you so much
Depends on the product: if your client is using the item to be part of something that is sold then an extended license is needed. Else a regular one is enough.
Hi! Just to clarify, if I use envato templates which can be seen in an FB live streaming, will my attention be caught for copyright? I'm afraid the videos or music will be removed because of copyright. I have 1 month subscription with envato elements now.
So that clip gets yanked and replaced by one that I can actually find/relicense on Envato... and the artist of the original clip that I wanted to use doesn't get paid.)
I often wonder why people are so quick to break the rules, while others of us work hard to follow them; but this leads me to wonder less about that.
I’m planning to purchase Envato Elements for music tracks and sound effects to be used in my videos periodically…

Do I have to register downloaded After Effects templates every time I use them?
I’m reading the Envator Elements “License Terms”, and it says this:
"Register items each time you use them
Each time you download an item, you get an ongoing license for a single, specified use. Want to use an item again? No problem! Visit your downloads and simply register it again for a different end use."
Does it mean I will have to “register” the downloaded AE templates every time I want to use them in my youtube videos? This sounds impractical. Am I missing something out?
OMG I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who had these questions! 😂 I was getting very confused. This was super helpful, thank you!

@@bookwormworlds Just create a new project and assign the item you are using to this new project, can be any amount of channels or videos as long as you are subscribed.
@@digitalproducts669 That means if I create multiple videos and I need to a background Music from ENVATO elements for all of my videos, then I need to re-license the same background music for each of videos

A client bought a standard envato theme. I now have the code to start. But can i activate it in the staging area? And then in the active dashboard?
Hi thanks for the information, using any Envato video after the subscription ends is not allowed, but if we use any template of FCP downloaded from Envato after the subscription ends, does the channel get "Copyright Claim".
can i use elements from envato for a shirt design it includes other different designs
Hey, I know this video was 2 years ago, but I have a question: I used some videos from envato to do a documentary, I’m not selling it or anything like that, but I would love to participate in film festivals, is that allowed with regular licenses? Thank you
As long as they aren't sold you are fine with a regular license. You can also acquire an extended license in case your doc is getting sold. But better read the terms, linked in the description to make sure your case is covered correctly.
great video
but
I need to get a source code for a web app and launch it as an online business and be able to add features to the code myself which one should I go to?
and how would the script know if I'm using the script once or many times?
comfused
The script itself won't "know" unless the developer built in some online validation. You can alter the code to your liking, best is to contact the developer, state your case and they'll advise you on which license to purchase.
thanks a lot
I have a question please help. Can I use any sound from Envato elements if I get that from my friend's account? Example. I like a sound. my friend has a subscription on envato. so if he download that with my youtube channel project name then will i able to use that sound for my youtube channel?
No, accounts are not transferable, you would need your own account/subscription else your friend is in violation of Envato’s terms of services.
Hi there I have a question I have purchase a vr studio set on a regular license and I would like to start a youtube channel with me in this vr set will a regular or extended license be needed
my client sell home decor products which license i need to purchase
So i have to track videocount of my channel. No way. The only usable license is the extended one, even if you dont sell videos.
Hi,Great video
I have question for licencing....
so I have made music video with Envato Elements ,Video and sound fx for my client and he wants to post it on his yt channel....
Will he get a copyright strike?
TH-cam may detect a copyright infringement right after uploading. All you then need to do is to dispute it and paste the text from the license file that Envato Elements provides you with into the description and the copyright strike is usually removed within a day.
Hi , if i subscribe to envato elements. Can i use it for different elements unlimited for many youtube videos
Yes as long as the publishing date of your videos lie within the subscription period.
i have used 1 single background music file to 30 videos in my TH-cam channel. does a "standard license" enough for all those videos? or should i register for each videos?
A regular license covers you for 52 videos if they are all uploaded to the same channel. Or are you using Elements? If you are using Elements, then you should register that song for each individual video.
I understand it a little with youtube but what if I'm a twitch streamer and use one for like a starting soon intro screen, can i use it unlimitedly or am i only allowed to use it 52 times like the youtube episode thing
These terms were written long before live streaming existed.. I reckon you can consider each video a “variation”, so yes, the 52 video rule will apply. Still cheaper than subscribing to Envato Elements if you only use 1 or a few templates for your channel.
Quick question…
I’m making a short promo film and I’d like to use a song I found on Elements. Once the video is up it will remain indefinitely so I need to know the license will stick with. Also I do not want to buy a monthly subscription. Would I be able to buy a permanent license? Any help would be awesome. Thanks
It can remain online indefinitely even if the subscription has stopped. You just need to be subscribed at the date of publication and all is good.

I appreciate the ultra fast response and the good news about the license. Subscribing to your channel and Envato immediately.
Thank you.
The projects are super confusing, is there a video that explains this. As a YT creator uploading hundreds of videos does this mean ill have 100's of project folders in elements!? And does the name have to match the name of the video I upload, I'm totally confused.
No, if you use your channel name as 1 project you are good to go.
Hello.
I want to create a lyric video for a client by using envato stock videos only. The video will be uploaded to their youtube channel. How do I deal with licensing? The videos were taken by various creators on envato elements... I'm confused.
Thank you so much for your help.
When downloading footage or items from Elements a license is created, just put in the name of the video, project or client and license text appears which can be downloaded as a simple text file and be given to your client. Works perfectly fine in case there is a copyright strike on youtube.
@@digitalproducts669 thank you
Hi
So when downloading from Envato and it says "Add this file to a project", should my project name be my TH-cam Channel name or the title of the video I plan to create? Thanks
Ideally you create a new license of an element that is used in that video (or end product) each time you upload a new video, name it “Channelname - Video title”. This ensures that the authors receives some royalties.
Hello, please answer :(. If a get a 1 month suscription and download multiple motion graphics, can I use them for 52 videos on my TH-cam Channel even if the 1 month suscription ends?
I'm planning on creating an intro trailer to a D&D campaign, using art for all the characters that the players are playing, to put within the template. If one of the characters die and that player has to make a new character, do I have to buy a new license in order to drop in new character art work into the intro trailer?
No, since it’s related one regular license is sufficient.

Hi, I have just started on audio jungle.
I have a lot of music(jingles and trailers) for sell but the 5 different licenes are a little bit confusing for me.
Pls can you help?
I would like to sell them as free for use for video trailers and commercials(openings for yt channels), video games or apps but not for movies for example cause then you need to sell the author rights?
So confused....
Envato only has 5 licensing options that every author who sells or a creator who buys a track on Audiojungle is bound to. You cannot set them as free to use for openers using their model, all you can do is just setting the different pricings for each license type, which Envato will help you with by automatically recommending ideal price points once you submit one.
If you want to give them away free for certain use cases, you would need to do that via your own website, kinda like what I do with the free TH-camr Pack on dp669.com
Hope that helps!
@@digitalproducts669 thank you so much for the reply.
So basically whichever license type I choose it won't be free...
Under "free" I mean:
Someone pays for the jingle and I see that jingle as a trailer for a movie???
I would like to sell my jingles and trailers for use ofc., but for youtube, different commercials but not for movie trailers for example.
I can't quite understand which license to choose.
Sorry if I am bothering.
One more thing;when I make music using different samples and loops, do I have to put credit for every instrument and loop that was used to create a music track?
@@gogorekviem You as the author who sells these items only need to set the price for each licensing type. So you are not the one who chooses but the buyer is - he needs to decide which license is the right one for his use case.
Regarding the samples: I would not recommend remixing someone else's music or loops, only sell what only you created. You can read more about this here: audiojungle.net/legal/market
@@digitalproducts669 I have read that the remixing of loops or samples is allowed only if you use them to create a new music. Not selling them as loops. For example, if you use 10 different loops to create one music sequence of 15-20 seconds and then playing a theme over them, then it's ok as I have read.
Because, why would they sell the loop packages etc. right?
But if you just wanna sell the loop...huh...who would do that?
Thank you for the replies and the help
@@gogorekviem Ah well, there you go then, happy remixing & sampling!
Something you said was incorrect or the least mismeading. Here is what reads on Envato Elements Terms of Service:
"Effect of ceasing subscription: As Envato Elements is a subscription service, certain rights granted under an Item license are only applicable for as long as your Envato Elements subscription is active.
If you've registered Items for specific projects or end uses, they retain a valid license after your subscription ends. But for trial licenses, free files and everything else, you'll need to remove the Items from any associated product, project or end-use. "
So the licence on old projects may stay valid, even if you cancel the subscription.
@@digitalproducts669 OK. It was confusing though. Worth clarifying. Cheers !

Please note that Envato practices one license per each customized end product which means you'll need to purchase another license if you're going to use the same item for another end product."
It does mean that we should go for "Extended License", right?
Ceren Bettemir The “end product” in your case is your client’s website. Only if you use the same theme for another client / a different website you would need another license.

Hi. Thanks for the video. The Question is!
Can i use background music, stock footages and everything i need to create a video from Envato elements and later on it will be montized?
Yes, no problem, just make sure that on the day of publication you have an active subscription.
Another question(s) 😀

2. What if you are so big people pay to Join your channel, is that in any way an on demand?
3. No use of content in Broadcasting. So TH-cam cannot be deemed as broadcasting ever?
