This is so great!! I was in Taormina from May 16 to the 19th and just came home a couple hours ago to the DC area. I took some pics from the piazza 9 de Abril in taormina and you could see the smoke and the lava. Thank you. What a cool coincidence. I climbed the Etna in the 28th of May. 😎😎

Noting a few flying hot rocks…yep, ya don’t want one of those taking out your drone! Interesting how that lava flow is creating somewhat of an elevated channel.

As long as the silica content doesn't reach 60% or ground water doesn't get introduced. It's a massive, active, and growing stratovolcano. But with a relatively peaceful past. i.e Small eruptions.
etna is the most active Volcano in the World ❤️❤️💪💪
